Re: Did you know these "hidden" P2 features?

Yeah I need to watch those videos to just remember the little things. Holding delete and pressing a drum pad to delete all the sequencer notes for that pad was a nice little one I discovered recently. What's interesting to me is how its possible at all. I mean, if Live had become a crazy ballooned s...

Re: Reasons for keeping Push 1, please add yours

I have read some people love the pads on push 2 more. I think i did realise it today. On push 1 i always turned the sensitivity down to like, -14, but id always get stuck pads. Now its like push 2 is -14 by default, with no stuck pads ever. Its a subtle thing that you dont really notice, but in the ...

Re: What annoys you about Push 2?

The thing is the things that Push 2 is now good at make it easy to see how it could be better at other things. Of course, i don't expect the world from Push, but its easy to see how the screen now makes it possible to add more features easily. But my gripes aren't really limited to Push 2, its the ...

Re: What have you done that took the most amount of time workin

Been thinking about this thread in the back of my mind the last week I think. And going through a lot of old sets. God, its a crime, I have so many unfinished tracks. And I think I know the culprit... session view. Session view is my absolute favourite way of getting started... but I have to say, I'...

Re: The future of ableton live (10 years)

I don't know the ins and outs of Push's hardware, but I imagine this would take a lot of work. Since Live is written for Windows and OSX, a version on Push would have to be written for whatever processor Push uses. This to me sounds like a complete rewrite of an audio engine, and of course all the d...

Re: Push monophonic sequencer?

Actually the touch strip does give you some feedback, little dots tell you at what octave ranges there are notes placed :)

Re: Push monophonic sequencer?

I don't find it that bad but I agree, they could probably use the coloured pads for at least describing where you are in the octave ranges/// kinda like the way the Elektron Analog RYTM handles chromatic mode... it's easy to see where you are in the loop with the loop buttons up top but chromaticall...

Re: Navigating deeper into parameters

You gotta press the device name itself up on the top layer of buttons above the screen, that takes you in deeper. Then you can navigate left or right, clicking on the parameter bank names to access them (buttons below acreen)

Re: Push 2

One other suggestion...

Ableton could just make a folder called 'Live Sets' that goes in the broswer...

Hit Browse.. top of the list.. choose the set.

Bam.

Re: Push 2

Just picked up a Push 2 from my local reseller. Went for the trade in deal. It's awesome. Just a small note but the USB is maybe double the length of the last one. I couldve bought a new cable but I was always plugging Push 1 into the side of the laptop it reached, no biggie anymore, plug in any sid...
