Put a m4l.api.SelectDevice.maxpat followed by a m4l.api.SelectParameter.maxpat into bpatchers. Then connect this and your midi CC informations it to a M4L.api.DeviceParameterRemote.maxpat,

I think you should forget about midimap if your designing a template. You might better use something like the "select" (or "sel") object to pick the needed midi messages from your FCB, and then directly connect them to your desired functions. There's a usefull "m4l.bal~" (or something like that) abstraction in the m4l-patches folder that would suit your problem.

Yes.
Open the patch, then you have two way of doing it:
1- open your button inspector and in the "parameter visibility" (where "hidden" should be selected) select "automated and store".
2- Or you can go to View>Parameters and then do the same as described in 1-

How do you think those new clips just appear out of no where? There has to be some way of at least "directing" or telling a clip where to go. I wonder if anyone can guess how exactly that happens?
