Re: is there a vst plug like Reason Sream 4 (sound & layout)

i know the sound you are after, and I usually get it close with a blend of Kombinat, Ohmicide, and PSP Mixsaturator depending on the timbre of the sound. each has a different quality. Kombinat has the agression, pump and crazy bass. Ohmicide has 'bitiness', but also can make things very warm and smo...

Re: things to do in berlin?

Bar 25 for some madness... try to find a local to take you. nice bars a...

DARK music

ok, sorry for the obviously vague and slightly clueless question. but I am a huge fan of the darker side of electronic music from Regis/Surgeon/Ancient Methods to Coil/Nurse with Wound and so on. but everytime i sit down to a midi keyboard i end up writing super happy stuff. im not the most musical ...

Re: Motu Ultralite Cuts Out w/ High Pitch Squeal

the interface is the shit, when it works.
Im the same, on Vista, playing one track on Winamp or in Sound Forge would get beep after beep. However in XP, i can load VSTs, Audio tracks galore, without any glitches.

MOTU tech support sucks btw

Re: Motu Ultralite Cuts Out w/ High Pitch Squeal

i posted in this thread originally, but i have since sorted it out. it pretty much boils down to Operating System i found. I have ran Vista, Win7, and XP all on the same machine, having the best results with XP. Vista was just terrible, and trying to stop pops and squeals proved to be a waste of tim...

Niamh de Barra (formerly Scurvy Lass) - Cusp EP (SSTN)

Eerie and emotional stuff from Niamh, I thought id share it. recorded using the Live looper, voice, and cello. http://niamhdebarra.bandcamp.com/ Young Bones, is my favourite of the bunch. The tracks themselves are the sort that you become more attached, once you see them played live, but i recommend...
