Re: How to make lessons in Live 7?

I've tried this method from the old teragon wiki http://web.archive.org/web/20080117062830/www.teragon.org/wiki/index.php?title=Keeping_note%27s_on_your_sets_by_adding_your_own_lessons_(live_5) but after following the instructions I tried opening the set and it causes Live to crash. Both the .als a...

Yes new link please! Sorry people... been away from the forum for some time... just now noticed people are still finding this rack and still finding it useful. I've had to clean up my servers so all the old links are dead and I've yet to go through and update any of them yet... but in the meantime ...

Re: anyone know of a quality audio slicer effect for Live?

or maybe know how to create new live fx? essentially looking for an effects app for live that simply allows you to mute segments of live audio input feed based on the current bpm setting ie 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 etc I have previously used dfx skidder and a few others but am yet to find a slicer that is a...

Why not at the start of a new session create a new clip as you normally would... change it to whatever bars you prefer (4 bars), then name it "default 4 bar". As you need new clips just option click drag (copy/paste) that default clip to a new slot. Just as easy IMO and limitless. You could for exam...

I think it would be prudent to release the pack as-is, seeing as people participated with the thought of also being able to share the package... right? Yeah I agree Machinate and that was my full intention when starting the project so please don't think that it wasn't. If you haven't checked out my...

IMO There's a nicer way to sample analogue synths and preserve all the balls warmth envelope punch etcetera. Also cool trick if you have a real analogue that you want to use on several tracks or to make it "tighter". What you do is you decide roughly the tempo you want for your track and how many o...

Hello, I've been working on such a thing as well recently. I was curious as to where you got, and if you'd be willing to share the samples you've accumulated. After quite a bit experimenting with this I started to lose interest. I was able to come up with some pretty good sounding instruments. Alth...

Yeah I know... I went sort of crazy sampling this thing one day and just overlooked removing the pan settings when sampling. Or doing what I should have done in hind sight which was make them mono from the get go. Next time... :D I won't be sampling that same set again as a lot of those sounds are l...

Cheers for that arafel... two things to about that... First... I should be getting kick backs from Elektron!! Second... if you like those racks then you will go nuts with the real thing... truth is those racks are cool but don't do the real deal justice. Ahh and one more thing... I've been so ...

For starters... loading a sample in the arrange does not let you play that sample up and down the note range from a midi keyboard. Inside Sampler there are stacks of sound shaping tools like... filters, envelopes, LFO's, Oscillators, Etc. Etc. The ability to layer sounds and do things like velocity ...

Yes I've made 3 machinedrum-ish racks that were available for download from my site... however I'm lame and my site is still not up and running again. When I get home I'll dig out the download links if they are still on my server and pass them on. The racks also included 90 something MB of samples I...

I'm not so sure its any specific synth making that filth, I'd say its the effects being used. This is just a guess of course but it sounds to me to be a fairly standard synth run through an octave pedal (possibly the one in guitar rig?). Thats my guess on what is causing those random sort of pitch f...
