Re: 2 automation questions

Sorry - I am a d*ck - you just mouse over it for the value - ouch.

What about deleting groups of points? That doesn't seem quite so daft - yet....

2 automation questions

Anyone know how to delete a group of automation points without double clicking all of them?

And can you read the automation value by clicking on the automation point somehow?

Cheers

Re: MIDI: loop end, how to adjust the step size

I don't think you can set the granularity for this.

Re: I love you Ableton, but you're killing me

The operating system and version are critical here.

No use for instance having 12gb of ram if you are running xp or xp pro.

Re: Assignable keyboard shortcuts for ...

I don't use the bookmarks that much any more - I just went through the effects that i liked the best and put them all as inserts on all tracks. For delay and reverb you can use sends. And then save this as a set or even the default set (I don't like the default set any more because I don't think you...

Re: Assignable keyboard shortcuts for ...

If you click in the top box of the browser one of the options is to add the current fodler as a bookmark 'bookmark current folder'.

Re: Assignable keyboard shortcuts for ...

why not add your favourite effects as bookmarks? there are only likely to be about 4.

or you can add your favourites as inserts (and sends for delay and reverb maybe) in all tracks and just switch them on/off with knobs and switches.

Re: Live 9 - What Workflow Needs the Most Improvement?

ability to set loop points using the set buttons without it running.

I would like to be able to just scroll along the sample and set loop start/end without having it play - or probably I am missing something here.

Re: beat repeat

Thanks for the tip - but I worked out a better solution for me.

I just keep it on all them time with the volume assigned to a knob.

Done.

Re: beat repeat

This works - just keep beat repeat switched on all the time in mix mode and assign the volume of beat repeat to a knob.

Then you don't have to wait for it to catch up.

Clunky.

Re: beat repeat

I think the problem is that I had the beat repeat on/off assigned to a midi controller and you actually have to push button before the start of the bar.

Otherwise it does the bar after the first.

Is it possible to change this behaviour so that it always plays in the current zone of interest?
