Re: Suggestions for expanding RME Babyface

Behringer ADA8200 : It's cheap and it works. My previous unit was an ADA8000 and it lasted about 10 years.
I don't use the ADA8200 with mics. I just use it with synths, samplers, etc.

Re: Harmor in ableton

Go to the Image Line website and log in.
Go to "My account"
Go to "My Licenses"
Find Harmor - follow the instructions to download and install the VSTi.
Make sure you install to whatever folder you keep your VSTs.

That worked for me.

The MX-1 has an Ableton Live Mode and will launch clips.
You can also adjust send levels.

Re: Nektar and Ableton

IMHO Nektar doesn't like Ableton Live at all. I've been waiting in vain for Live support for two years now. I'm not expecting it anytime soon.

Re: RME Babyface Pro vs MOTU Ultralite AVB

Thoughts on the choice between these two interfaces? I am upgrading my computer and moving from Windows 7 to 10, and my current interface (Tascam US-1641) does not have Win10 drivers. RME seems to be the company to beat, but so expensive, can probably only justify the Babyface Pro. The MOTU Ultrali...

No, releases have historically not been released around trade shows. Or if they were, it was just coincidence. It's in beta at the moment, will be available soon :)
OK, thanks!

Re: *.wav files pronounced WAV or WAVE --- it's WAVE!

Phew. You are lucky then. This week I heard "waav" a few times watching Sonic States Messe coverage.
Nick Batt always says "waav" and I think I heard the WaveLab guy say "waav" too!

*.wav files pronounced WAV or WAVE --- it's WAVE!

Why do some people pronounce it wav. It's wave not wav! It makes me bonkers to hear wav and not wave. I think it's the Brits fault. They also pronounce *.dll as "Dill" and not "dee el el" That makes me bonkers too. I know I should be open minded but it makes me bonkers. This is kind of joke post ple...

If you mean snip the clip in half or something like that as in Cubase you can't! It drives me bonkers.

All it will take is a 3D printer that can print LPs. If there isn't one already.
