Re: moving on from oxygen8

yeh but i live in australia and the retailers are a rip off.. Novation ZeRO SL mkII has alot of pads and knobs etc.. then i can just use the keys from the oxygen..

Maschine seems to have quite a following..

Re: moving on from oxygen8

yeh the Novation SL MkII looks pretty good I like the xy pad on the side.. plus it looks to have all the knobs and faders..

the price is about the same as the APC40.. the novation impulse61 seems cheapish too..

Re: moving on from oxygen8

Pads would be nice, also some more channel controls/sliders, the 8 on the oxygen are good, but id like to be able to control synth parameters as well as channel levels etc..

Re: adding voices in your music

Well making it sound more integrated primarily, at the moment its quite easy to get a clip of audio from youtube.. EQ out most of the background noise.. but getting it to sound seamless or 'sit' properly in the overall mix is harder.. Do i need to side chain or EQ the other devices to make way for t...

adding voices in your music

Hey Guys, So I've come up against the issue that I've made a few minutes of music that I'm happy with and I'd like to use some voice mp3s ripped off of youtube to provide some more interest.. This is proving trickier than I first anticipated what with warping/getting the rythmn right.. also some of ...

Anyone recommend good/affordable microphones and what I need to swot up on to mesh my samples into tracks? I realise this is a somewhat open ended question I suppose I'd just like to hear what oth...

Re: Bass Bomb sync

Hey Keith, So basically I have 2 MIDI tracks each with an operator. I was attempting to have the MIDI track with the build operator do the bass drop by reducing the sustain on the envelope.. it doesnt seem to give the same effect (because its a white noise wave?) so I added in another MIDI track wit...

Bass Bomb sync

Hi Guys, I'm having difficultly with getting the operator that is doing the build up/sweep to sync with the operator that is doing the bass bomb/drop at the end of the buildup. Can I just use the single operator to do the build up then the drop? I've tried this but for some reason when I change the ...

Re: Do I deserve an APC40?

I've been playing about a year now.. got alot of good stuff from tom cosm, groove3 etc.. i guess i know my way around Ableton ok now.. You mention the APC40 maybe isn't too great for making the tracks, but rather for DJing etc.. I've been eyeing up the maschine mikro too.. would this be something th...
