at least i have the time to do it... +7000 nki presets... i dont need this feature anymore

Question: .nki batch import?

Hi there,

i wonder if anyone has discovered a way to import many kontakt .nki files at time into live's library... currently i must click one by one and select "import into live's library", which is very annoying when you have a bunch of them.

thanks!

NI Battery kits >> Drum Racks presets

Hi, maybe it is a bit adventurous to suggest, but if it were possible, i would love to see that Live is capable of importing .kit, .kt2 and .kt3 files (Native Instruments Battery drum kits) onto Lives's Drum Rack / Instrument Rack presets , in the same way that .nki's files have the menu option 'imp...

Help with Ableton automatic repair

Hi, i got some sampler presets broken, i mean, Live is unable to find the sample folder location. So i select them on Live's explorer, click 'Manage files' > 'Auotmatic search', specify the folder and 'Go' Then, Live says me 'X Candidates foud' and shows me the list (see image at bottom). All candid...

Re: Kind of weird thing about Ableton Live Library structure

Hi there, i got two almost identical folders in lives library: ..\Ableton Live library\Waveforms\ and ..\Ableton Live library\Samples\Waveforms\ My Live library has only the second of these. I wonder whether the other might be left over from a previous version of Live. Thank you for quick response....

Kind of weird thing about Ableton Live Library structure

Hi there, i got two almost identical folders in lives library: ..\Ableton Live library\Waveforms\ and ..\Ableton Live library\Samples\Waveforms\ , although the second one seems more populated with sample stuff. Maybe i screwed something or maybe over the years and versions the abes re-structured the...

AbletonSuite 8.1 gets freezed when analyzing some audio mp3

Hi, just what the title says, for some reason i get random "freezing" on Live when precueing or analyzing audio mp3 files on its browser. It seems to happen only with mp3 format.

Greetings.

Re: New dark instrumental metal from 2ndorder

Hi, i like it very much and downloaded. It reminds me some Mnemic stuff.

Would you bother to tell me if did you used Live's only built in devices or third party VSTs (compressors, EQs, tec.) ?

Great idea, mr ergonomics. It could save a lot of switch-to-another-view time.

+1 for this one.

Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

Hi IP, good work compilation ;)

Since very long time ago i have been asking for a quality built-in reverb device so you don't need to search third party VSt chances: http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=123286

Thanks.

Re: Better Reverb

+1 on this one. I think live's reverb sounds just fine but its a bit aged and definitely not at the same quality line as the rest of the suite. Nowadays there are out there a lot of reverb plugs far nicer than Live's built in reverb. Maybe a new 'Reverb II', or a 'Proverb' audio device would be very...

You forgot: - Full screen (F11) in dual monitor / detachable / reorganizable views - A preferences button for 'audio clips allways in RAM BY DEFAULT' - Overdub in arrangement like the session view way (without rendering a new clip) - Instant mapping improvement (still cant view the parameter names f...

You can do it with one instance. make a midi track, drop the vst into it. double click on 4 clips in that track to make short blank clips. open clip view, under the 'Notes' section find the Bank, Sub Bank, Program boxes. Do an experiment, set all 3 'Bank' boxes on the first clip to '1', set the sec...
