That Gator 4-space rack bag looks nice. Similar to my MC-909 softcase, which I'm going to use for my mackie 1404, powerbook and Remote SL25 (yes they all fit). What's rad about the 909 bag is it meets most domestic (US) carry-on restrictions. If you plan on traveling/gigging via plane, perhaps check...

sorry about the flak you catch in the scene, shove some fat beats down their earholes, snap their necks! LOL, yes! Thanx man. I'm going half-lappy, half-hardware (outboard mixer, efx and synths) so at least I'm still half underground/hardcore/whateva, ha. TBH, I'm so stoked to get my rig up and get...

>it can be done but just because it looks like a mousepad doesn't make it a mouse pad. you might as well be asking how to control the mouse with two encoders, same exact thing. You could use it to control X,Y coordinates, yes, that's exactly what I'm asking it to do. To your point, you probably coul...

maybe what I need is a whole computerkeyboard put into the SL , add a flatscreen and trackball ... or break open my SL and force all the rotaries , sliders and keys into my laptop What about using the SL's X/Y touchpad to control the mouse pointer? I'm thinking more for live performance use- the le...

LOL @mercyplease...nah man, I've been at this live game for 7-8 years now, so I've actually already gone thru ALL the glorious stages of electro-muso life you mention. Y'know, I think that's why I initially started playing live- so my sh*t would get played beyond my studio and friends cars, heh. But...

I dunno, for me it's like watching a turntabalist- I luv it for about 15 minutes but then I'm done. I'd rather be on the dancefloor, voting with my feet, occasionally glance over at the live PA and smile when I see 'em getting into it. So my vote is for song structure, well executed trax and listena...

Hi and

Hi I'm new. I've been playing live electronic music for 7+ years strictly on hardware. But now I've finally decided to make the big switch to my lappy and now have a million and 1 No0B questions about Live. Here's the 1: Some of the parts in a few of my scenes remain activated even after launching t...
