She's good but not great IMHO. Mediocre MC skills, poor live performance and after a whle I get tired of her nonsense-chats. Her voice is great tho, Diplo's beats are awesome and she does have a totally unique story/vibe. I had her record on heavy rotation for about 3 weeks last year, haven't played...

Mine hasn't turned on in over 2 years but worked great up till then- and I'm the original owner! Damn, I need to crack it open and get it going again. As far as the envelopes go, if I remember correctly they were very simple ADSR presets, i.e. slow-attack, etc. Nothing to get excited about. My frien...

Defragging seems to have helped my stuttering a lot, as well as loading a bunch of my clips into RAM. The problem isn't 100% gone, but the stuttering is a lot less frequent and less drastic, i.e. I've only heard one small stutter in the last few days. Anyway, I need to keep playing long sets and kee...

Putting a pair of headphones on an MC without asking him, with no warning, when we were playing live at a club about a year ago here in San Francisco. In my control-freakish little mind I thought it would help him hear himself better cos it was just standard DJ monitoring no floor wedges or anything...

I think the best solution for this would be a UI enahncement - the clip display should include an extra n beats (per a Preferences setting) so that a clip's length can be increased as intuitively as it can be decreased. I'm totally with ya on this one. Kinda disappointing Live's audio clips aren't ...

Bradelectro, can u control the throttling on you cpu? Can you set it to a fixed, c.q. max frequenty. If so is the problem still there? I'm not sure, I'll look into it. I haven't had much time in the studio since my last post, but I did load all my drum scenes into RAM (100s of them) to see what wou...

I feel ya- I'm having the same issue on my Toshiba R25 dual-core runnning Live 6, Echo Layla card. When triggering a large group of scenes, playback will sometimes stutter when going from one scene to the next. Obviously I have no IAC virtual MIDI ports b/c they're mac only. I have some MIDI Yoke po...

Dr. Zoiberg- Well you asked ;-) Per your PDF, in PD I assign Media/MIDI Settings/input device= Remote SL MIDI, output device= MIDI YokeNT 1 (I'm on a PC). But then I get this error message in PD: could not open midi input 10 (ReMOTE SL MIDI): PortMidi: `Host error' In Live Preferences/MIDI I set Con...

Dope. Not as plug'n'play and out-the-box as Novation makes it sound, but not hard to get going the way you want it. The weighted keys are not often mentioned but they def. make me play better!
