Re: Six weeks

I tried Diablo 3's demo because I had a moment of idiocy. I don't play games but used to play Diablo 2 way back in 2000. After a certain amount of playing they hook you and you end up buying it like crack, and then you spend your days grinding like a junkie. Hah. I'm past level 50 with all classes....

A few of the pads stopped responding. Lights still worked.

Six weeks

That's my time without Push so far. Anyone else had theirs in for repairs/replacement yet? If so, how did you stay sane?

Re: The End of Pad Color Hacking?

Yeah, it's interesting how perfect the quality control has been on Maschine. Is Push being difficult because different LEDs are different strengths depending on what batch they're from? I know from experience that it can be difficult to even find LED lights which last until the customer is out the d...

Re: Getting Push soon (maybe)

Push doesn't feel limiting, except for sample editing. But everything about the workflow is great, and if you know a little about something, the shortcuts are logical. Lots of things I want to do are discoverable. Still wouldn't mind some good workflow tutorials, but that's what it's like with every...

Re: The End of Pad Color Hacking?

The beta is open to all, and still running as far as I can tell. They're pretty quick to reply to bug reports.

Re: The End of Pad Color Hacking?

It made my pinkish pads more like the others. I may have to tweak it a little to get it exact, as the whites turned sort of greyish on a few pads, but it's pretty close to perfect now. I haven't yet seen any cases where the calibration has caused other colour modes to look off.

Re: all in one pcs versus laptops

Touch screen use for long sessions is painful. You'll use the mouse/touchpad/trackball most of the time, and your body will thank you for it. I second the "great laptop, nice external screen" option. If you can find a laptop with the specs you need nothing beats the mobility. If you never actually n...

Re: Pulling the trigger on PUSH

After buying something relatively expensive I normally have a feeling like "OH SHIT I JUST SPENT A FORTUNE AND I HAVE TO KEEP IT AND WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE IT AND WOULD LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT RETURNING THIS NOW AND DAMN DAMN DAMN". I've owned Push for about 9 hours and haven't felt even a tingle. If you h...

Re: Rise Rainbow Push...Rise!

Got mine today. It has about 10 buttons with two increasingly pinkish variations, but neither is enough to bother me. White/pink is close enough that I get the meaning, so all is well. The picture the thread-starter included has more pink than mine, and I could live with even that.

Re: live does'nt always recognize push

Do both have the same sort of USB ports, or is one USB2 and the other USB3? If that's the case, you may have discovered some sort of bug somewhere, and good luck figuring out the specifics :)

Razor's not a problem on my new system, but my old C2D laptop definitely struggled ;)

Re: 3 native instruments synths vs 3 u-he synths

If you're even considering 3 NI products, Komplete will save you a few bucks and get you even more toys. Guitar Rig isn't a bad addition to anything (don't let the name fool you into thinking it has only one purpose). If you're buying one thing at a time because you don't have a ginormous chunk of c...
