Thanks for sharing that, triant. You definitely generated a lot of interest with that "padskin". Kudos for taking the time to help the community! :D

I've seen the "before" pic's of your Push, I believe, so that really looks fantastic compared to the stock colors.

Re: Push knobs and macro controls

One of the Youtube reviews of Push says that when you control an device via Push it is pretty much a crapshoot what it grabs hold of and what you control with the knobs This seems pretty much true Strangely, even when I manage to control device macro controls with the Push knobs, the readout below ...

Re: Your Push Experience

All these testimonials are making my decision about what I should do all that much harder. I've been thinking to get a Maschine now then an Push later. All the talk about the LED issues is scaring me off. Plus, the Maschine will come with a bunch of sounds and instruments. To really get sounds and ...

Re: Drum layering in Live - best methods + workflow?

lm and Chief Nugget, I had been listening to NIN and was trying to determine how much percussion could be going on and how they could figure out how to keep it all separate from a mix perspective, but keep up with the patterns from a sequencing point of view. In the past I've had multiple drum track...

Re: Push will only play the first instrument

Thanks for taking an interest! I don't think I needed to select MIDI. When I pressd "add track" it straight away showed a list of instruments. I just twirled the knobs at the top to scroll the instrument list until I found one which suited (an 808 drum kit, or a bass synth, for example), then press...

Re: Push will only play the first instrument

Hey Frank, congrats on your Push!

Can you tell me what kind of track you are creating from push? Are you holding down "add track" and then select "MIDI" from the list in the display?

Re: Push Cover / Stand

Yeah, dest4b, that is a really nice bit of kit. I'm not a carpenter, but my brother is :-) If you have any details about how you built it, we would certainly welcome them. I could pass them along to my brother and we could make it a project!

Really really nice job.

Re: Multiple shades of gray/white

I had a work emergency this morning and had to bolt out of the house, so I didn't get to take pic's of my new color scheme, but it looks much like deva's. I actually like deva's color scheme a bit better at first blush, so I might give that one a shot. I would like to agree with those that are looki...

Re: Multiple shades of gray/white

Lyovino, I'm on the road away from home but I'll snap a pic and post it in the morning. It definitely looks better with a darker scheme. I've been on the fence about it and still haven't fully committed to keeping it, but it looks a ton better with darker colors. Like most folks that use it, I want ...

Re: Multiple shades of gray/white

That's interesting, but I think the problem with the push is not the same, since you can see a very clear dip in brightness to the center in your example whilst the push has quite an even distribution of variance inbrightness. Actually if you compare deva's to mine (http://imgur.com/h7ZgYZf) they a...

Re: Drum layering in Live - best methods + workflow?

You could just use Simple Delay (100% Wet, 0% Feedback, Time mode, with Link unless you want to get additional stereo effect) and adjust delay time to get results like in pic that you've posted earlier. I do this a lot when I'm stacking samples in Drum Racks on single pad. Hope that it'll help you,...

Re: User colors on your Push!!!

curious, though, what you used to decompile the code (never know when i might need to tackle something like this again). my version of uncompyler only works on python 2.7 code, which the remote scripts were evidently not written in. Well, this took me a bit to figure out as I'm not a python coder. ...
