Re: Anyone having problem with this new 9.7.2?
I don't, but Ableton's support employees get a monthly salary to tackle exactly these kind of issues, and I have good experiences with them, so my suggestion is to reach out there.

Re: Play Notes with APC mini
And I'm quite impressed with the build quality. Much better than the Novation Launchkey that I once had.

Re: Play Notes with APC mini
Ever figured this one out? I would love to have it the other way around: - Work with the clip launch grid as it does out-of-the-box in Akai's script. - Manually map ("hard-wire") the faders per my own needs. For anyone interested: I just received the unit and tested it. It seems I was searching for...

Re: Play Notes with APC mini
That helps. I work in software and know my way around javascript and some QA environments, but am not a developer, so that sounds right up my alley. I also found that figuring out how I'd like to perform my music can be a time consuming task.

Re: Play Notes with APC mini
Well, you've certainly made me interested in understanding Bomes more. I just had a bit of a read and I'll definitely keep it in the back of my mind when I start testing/practicing my live set.
Cheers

Re: Play Notes with APC mini
Thanks. I replied just before your last post regarding Bomes.
I deliberately ordered the unit instead of buying it in a physical store, to be able to test and send it back if needed – since I read some wonky experiences online indeed.
Let's hope it works well from the box.

Re: Play Notes with APC mini
Bomes might be something worth looking into on the long run, but for now I'm not ready to spend the same amount of money on Bomes as I did on the APC mini
Thanks for your suggestions.

Re: Mapping more than 8 macro's OR save midi mapping in library
Thanks again for your help everyone. I've been able to get the UC-33 going using the OPX-II's learn mode, and indeed the mapping is saved "with the instrument" so I can recall it anytime. And with the options under the synth's "PROCC" section the pickup is great as well. A very nice way to both give...

Re: Mapping more than 8 macro's OR save midi mapping in library
Thanks for all suggestions. Both DDC (assuming it works the same for plugin as with native devices) and the midi learn option look very promising :!: I never even considered using midi learn. Great to know that those settings are stored with the soft synth itself. I'll probably do some experimenting...

Re: Mapping more than 8 macro's OR save midi mapping in library
Yes, I now actually doubt if that is going to work because of this: The plug-in in question would of course need to be able to internally map a CC to a specific parameter, It's just a simple softsynth (great sounding, but no extra midi mapping capabilities) so I think I'll have to rely on Ableton fo...
