strange midi cpu spikes!?

I keep running into this little conundrum, most of the time I'll be playing in live and everything is just fine, cpu meter is steady and jumps arround when synths hit and then settle down when the instrument is loaded and is steadilly used... but then sometimes, not very often, but sometimes I get t...

all of your sync problems are now with ableton, nor the midi interface. The issue is with your AUDIO interface! The ammount of delay that most audio cards produce make it impossible to sync up. you must run asio and with a perfectly adjusted mode and buffer if you want to be able to sync...

I will assume you're not running asio. If you use asio in particular asio 4 all for the driver for the shitty integrated sound card you can minimize the popping and crackling sounds......... and since you'll be bypassing the stupid WDM direct x driver you will be able to simply mute a track, then ar...

but in the end do work on your own drums... in both jungle and dnb the drums are the most critical element because it defines the rhythm to all the other instruments... at least in the most recent styles of dnb and the most uptempo dancible dnb... Please oh please don't learn with the fucking amen b...

if you're trying to modify the pitch of the recorded voice, record the clip, open up the clip so you can see it's waveform... now you can turn the transpose knob.....

live the only thing that you can use as far as I know is the grain delay...

you kinda set yourself up on this one so I gotta pick on you a little. Please don't take it personally: Loops are NOT in any way a good method for making music. If you ever want to achieve anything useful in music you really must learn to create from scratch... live is an amazing software.... The br...

it's definetly more then doable through the headphone jack.... get yourself the asio4all and set it up to work with the card.... most lap tops these days use nice sound cards which are capable of 24 bit @ 96 khz and I noticed at 96khz my delay is at arround 6ms.. :)

dude I tell you you'd have a lot more people listening if you put it somewhere where people didn't have to download.... Get yourself a virb... (virb.com) as for the song it's not bad minimal, I enjoyed it.... the one note synth however is a little too loud for the rest of the song it kinda takes too...

intel quad core 2.4,4gb of ram. live 6.07,reaktor 5,battery 3,absynth 3,massive, you're lacking the allmighty fm8 ;) I listened to the track but unfortunatly I have zero desire toward ambient so I don't have a comment for it. That's not to say your track is good or bad it's just I really don't enjo...

I think idm would be the last thing I would relate it to.... are you looking at ExSplats or did you listen to BackInTime.... cause BackInTime is minimal where as this I don't see any connection to IDM.
