Casio HT-700 with a sustain pedal built from Lego bricks. I was always jealous of the drum pads on the other casio keyboards, like Brightonalex'.

Nice - well produced and well balanced. Like Expectation Gap the most, and its artwork too. Interesting stuff and quite atmospheric. Actually the last one, Tuolmo, which I'm listening to as I type this reminds me of Tangerine Dream's Stratosfear in a way (which is meant to be a compliment). :-) Look...

Was thinking about painting the lid of my PowerBook, but was worried about the huge effect it would have on resell value. So I was thinking, how about covering the lid with some sticky-backed plastic stuff and then just painting the plastic? So when I'm bored with it I can just peel off the plastic ...

Great stuff - like the tempo tweaks too. Very varied. Am going to sell my Live 6 and buy Live 3 now :)

Help me complete my signature

So, I have a PowerBook G4, Live6, Oxygen8.

Obviously I need my next equipment to be something ending with ...10 or ...12

All suggestions welcome, the more expensive the better, and the version number is much more important than sound quality or other trivial issues ;-)

Am happy with my Oxygen-8 (v1). The rotary knobs are solid, but they do have quite a bit of dead time (i.e. first 1/8th turn does not do anything in terms of midi signals, if you see what I mean). No buttons, mind.

Hmmm... external HD, hadn't thought of that. Good idea. Firewire / PCMCIA / USB - best way to do it?

(sorry smartabletonuser, didn't want to hijack your thread, but maybe we're in the same boat)

Det er fantastik. En lille work af genius. Newer stuff is better than the older stuff, which is probably the best kind of progression you'd like. Well produced. Luckily my Danish is not good enough to be too seriously disturbed by some of the stuff... Keep us posted of any new stuff.

Same here: PPC PowerBook 1.5GHz with 1.5GB RAM. No big performance problems yet with Live6, but not really stretching it at all... yet. Would be interested in what you go for... Was thinking about a faster HD, but might be better to cut your losses and save up for a MacBook. Decisions, decisions... ...
