Re: Can you save your project from Push?

every post i walk into, you seem to talk a lot about maschine's superiority to push Dalmu, please don't put words in my mouth. I don't think either Push or Maschine is superior to each other. I mean, sure, we can pinpoint specific features that each does better as people have been doing but they're...

Re: Assign send & return inside the drum rack to knobs

How do you control Drum Rack sends from Push? Is it a quick button combo? And how to control the return devices? Currently, you can't access sends of a Drum Rack. You can control returns in general by selecting a return track and sends by going to Pan/Send Mode or Track Mode.   :...

Re: Can you save your project from Push?

I do not own the NI controller but from what I can tell it is also quite a screen-based experience to some large degree?? Wrong. You can choose to turn off the computer screen and still have full control over pretty much the entire aspect of the software from the hardware throughout the whole compo...

Re: Maschine style sampling with Push?

I'm looking for any custom scripts that will replicate Maschine's sampling workflow with Push. Does anyone know of such a thing? Hopefully it includes sending the waveform being sliced to Push's display? Viewing anything graphical like waveforms on Push is impossible since Push's display is only te...

Re: PUSH IT REAL GOOD

humnumb, theres a big difference between closed and undocumented. Push, and live, are open environments in that much of their functionality is exposed to manipulation. I'll grant you they have done a deplorable job in documenting the specifics of that interaction, but that doesnt mean that it doesn...

Re: Can you save your project from Push?

Abes should learn from NI. Maschine lets you create a new project, browse and load existing projects, and save, all from the Maschine hardware.

Re: How I want to use Push.

I'm going for a "I don't ever have to look at a screen ever on stage" set-up with that in mind I've worked it out without Push but Push could really allow me to take the next step. Why not just go for Maschine and be done with it since it already lets you have a fully mouseless workflow without hav...

Has anyone worked out if push can arm and record audio tracks, as far as I can work out it seems impossible?
Unfortunately, you cannot arm audio tracks from Push.

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine

Live is a better application as a whole for sound designers who don't want a bunch of presets and don't give a crap about Automap. skatr2, are you forgetting this critique from a Live user who is being honest about the sound design capability of Live from Push? Hmm?: The biggest turn off for me is ...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine

panten, the bottomline is that Maschine as an integrated software/hardware combo has very real advantages over Live and Push when it comes to things like the ability to have a completely mouseless workflow, having total control of pretty much every feature of the software, plugin automapping, exclus...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine

"living dialog", eh? Sounds like something inspired by easter sunday. Too many hard-boiled eggs in your system, perhaps? Anyway, I think the issue is that posters like deva, skatr2, panten, et al. have just been rehashing the same argument with each post. It's pretty frustrating to just keep h...
