Re: touchAble 3 is out! Now connects via simple USB cable & more

The feature I am looking for in all ipad apps is: drum rack mixer contro. No one offers it, and I can't understand why since mixing drums is essential and no other controller provides it. I would get any app that did this. . im pretty sure touchable does this - at least in v2 it was easy to open up...

Re: touchAble 3 is out! Now connects via simple USB cable & more

Bit laggy from time to time (usb, didnt try wifi yet) but nethertheless: One big 8O ! This must be the most complete ableton controller i have ever used. The sheer amount of functions you have access to is beaten not even by push nor any other device i know. The templates are dope, connecting is a b...

[PUSH] drum rack mixer control / clip editing in arrangement

drum rack control is why i bought PUSH. i though it would be the ultimate drum controller, something like maschine inside ableton. big disappointment when i found out that you cant control drum rack sub tracks in the mixer of session view. in my opinion live should be able to map the sub track fader...

Re: Any Drummer here using Ableton on stage?

I'm not a drummer but if I were, I'd use my Alesis Control Pad (not pro).

8 velocity sensitive pads, channel and cc per pad. Cheap, but probably only used units available (think it went out of production)

Re: Why no app or controller has control over drum rack mixer?

Diggin a little in the beatwise network, i might have found something. Theres a clyphx addon called macrobat. It provides a drum rack mode. Basically u use the macros of an empty audio effects rack to control parameters of the samplers/simplers in a DR. Drum rack multi mode lets u control the same p...

Re: Why no app or controller has control over drum rack mixer?

any controller that provides device control will map the volumes of a drum kit to the device controls Really? How? I dont know a way to blue hand a drum rack. Blue hand will always jump to a device on a pad/chain in the rack. But what i want is my controllers faders or knobs automatically mapping t...

Re: Why no app or controller has control over drum rack mixer?

I keep aksing myself the same question. If i recall correctly, live 8 would map the apc's faders to the drum rack mixer when unfolded. Wasnt ideal but better than what we have now which is... Nothing

Took me a bit to get the irony. Thanks for being obvious now.

I posted this from my mobile so thats why theres no link. Next time I'll do better and save you from wasting 3 secs of your lifetime on google. Also i will mention whether or not its suitable for paranoids.

Sol flare presets for analog - really good!

No, i dont work for them, just thought its worth spreading. Its probably the best collection of bread n butter bass sounds i've heard so far, not just for analog. I didnt think analog could sound like this though i am not an expert. Couldnt bother to search for the link but its easy to google. Its s...

Totally agree. Digitals demos didnt convince me totally and i just started to like string machines son i went ensemble. I totally love it, its even good for really analogue sounding bass.

Re: push wear and tear

Pushs soft touch surface actually held me off a bit as i have bad experiences with that stuff. My old laptop had that same rubber coating and at some point it became all soft and smeary and started peeling off in a really ugly way. Anyone remembers the first gen motorola razor mobiles? Same thing. W...

Re: Hardware Synth Recommendations for Tech House

In my humble opinion Waldorf's Pulse II is the most versatile analogue monosynth around 500 euros. 3 OSCs, filter modulation, endless modulation capabilities, vst editor, allmighty arpeggiator. You can even play chords on it in paraphonic mode. If i was to choose a dedicated synth for techno styles ...
