Yo, I'm selling some gear again, cd3000xl and trigger finger

What it do? I'm doing some more gear purging getting rid of some stuff at the end of the year that I don't forsee putting into heavy use next year! I'm selling off a Trigger Finger in good condition and original box, $125 OBO, and also an Akai CD 3000xl sampler (saves samples in the s3000 format). T...

definitely an issue of dithering down. I get that sometimes when I have 32 or 24 bit files and try to play them back through 16 bits you will get some distortion because 24 and 32 bits has higher headroom and utilizes it. Also as mentioned, the program that you use to burn may not know how to compen...

The effects aren't bad. The only ones i usually grab for are reverb, auto filter and occassionally erosion. The verbs are alright, no real complaint and very low CPU hit. In reality, all of my work is mixed in outside studios, Logic, PT, or Sonar usually so any effects that are there to help the mix...

hardware: novation x station, emu emax (original), akai cd3000xl, akai s5000 (i know 3 of those are samplers but they are also clearly synths too). I usually do not midi slave them to ableton (which runs on my laptop), I just use them to do exotic processing of wave files and just record the results...

I'm still getting those ST/Live crashes. I'll probably end up just recording ST as wave from my second computer (which is used as a sound module) and along w/ arming an audio track, arm a midi track so that I can alter tempo, pitch etc and just replay the midi and rerecord the ST off my desktop to k...

put a master limiter and compressor on the output. i use kjaerhus audio plugs for that. Comming from making waves audio, there definitely IS a difference in sound output that's noticable. whether it's better or worse is subjective. But one thing that I know is ableton is less forgiving when it comes...

the control E solution works well...the only problem with it is that you lose the control of your elastic audio.. so if you changed the tempo you have to manually go in and edit samples in impulse.. if you're working with wave files and speed up the tempo and wish to change the pitch w/ the speed ch...

Sampletank 2 in Live: Frequent Crashes

I have the latest update for ST2. I notice that I get an error prompt by Live only when I have ST2 loaded and either try to drop in a replacement midi instrument in the same slot, or do some type of moving around of ST2 into another midi slot. once all I did was have the metronome clicking for about...
