Yes yur2die4, it looked the same to me.
I find that I quite often record with to low volume and I rather normalize then do another recording if it was a good take as the VST-plugs sometimes works better at that level.

Re: How do I normalize a recorded audio clip/track
Thank you for the replies. When I use the consolidate the waveform shape does not increase so my guess is that nothing happens... The second tip seems to be working but feel very awkward... strange that a DAW in 2012 dont have that built in in a better way as it is a very common action. As the devel...

How do I normalize a recorded audio clip/track
Is there a way to normalize a recorded audio clip inside of Live or must I use an external audio editor for that?

Re: Random crackles with Mackie Onyx820i Firewire mixer
OK.. problem is solved and it might be useful for some so I write down my experiences. The Mackie Onyx820i was as default on 48000 Hz samplerate and my Live on 44000. First my setup: MacBook Pro (Retina display version) with Mountain Lion and 8 GB of Ram and 500 GB SSD and Thunderbolt. ...

Plugin scanning stillnot working on OSX Lion with beta 8.4b2
Just a few plugins are recognized and the scanning seems to stop after Alchemy in VST and Aalto in AU. I have tried to remove the preference file but with the same result as at the installation and also done a manual rescan with the same result. On 8.33 this is working on the same Mac so it seems to...
