Re: Crackling/Skipping in rendered wav file

Do they play back fine when you listen back to the project file and only come out weird when rendered?

Re: excel skin? or something

I always thought that the phone console switchboards at work looked like some type of midi controller.. the uc33 could definitely pass as one of those

Re: Question about Volume faders using Nano kontrol 2

I would make sure that the controller itself isn't trying to manage the banking around, sometimes there is built in features for that kind of stuff which may interfere with how Live handles that..

Re: Crackling/Skipping in rendered wav file

You could try to flatten/freeze or re-sample the audio with that plugin on it before rendering

Re: Drum Racks Utilizing Warp/Time Stretch

+1 This missing feature was really a step backward with the introduction of the drum rack. The Impulse drum sampler has the timestrech/pitchshift feature but simpler/sampler not. And this while timestreching is one of Livs main features. Impulse has time-stretch but it still didn't quite work for l...

Re: Drum Racks Utilizing Warp/Time Stretch

I remember the covert operators coming up with some kind of solution for this, couldn't find the blog post its probably an extreme hack job way around it but I'd love to see it anyways, BUMP I'm having the hardest time tracking it down.. I'm pretty sure it was the covert operators but I'm not certa...

Re: Creating Drum Racks Before or After Writing

I didn't know they were called 128's but I've actually messed around with thee before. My main problem was that having a drum rack with 128 samples for each slot was really straining my CPU and was making Ableton really unstable. Have you ever had this problem? I've been messing around with similar...

Re: Creating Drum Racks Before or After Writing

Do a search for "128's" and see if that helps with your workflow.. It takes time to set up, but the idea is that once you build a library of them you can flip through drum sounds quickly and even while your MIDI pattern is playing which is nice.

Re: Adjust tempo to match recording length

If you stretch the notes from 4.5 to 4 bars once you adjust the tempo you would eventually find the value where it sounded the same as 4.5 at 120BPM, but it may not always sound the same because of tempo synced parameters in the synth patch

Re: LAte 2011 MAcbook Pro HDD Replacement. Suggestions?

I will recommend these guys though: http://www.macsales.com/ Buy one of their kits that includes a new drive and an external USB enclosure for your old drive. :) Those enclosures are awesome. Plug it in and clone your current drive to the new drive while it is still in the enclosure then swap them....

Re: Is this possible? arrangement view/clip view

Not officially, but I have seen M4L pop out devices that will give you a floating session view that you can see while Live is in arrangement view.
