Re: 12 frames mute at start and end of piece?

Also, if you do get it in a good spot you can right click the marker and do "set song start time here" which may come in handy

Re: 12 frames mute at start and end of piece?

You could probably zoom in really close and try to place a marker, not sure if it will snap to the frame or if you'll just have to manually line it up as close as you can

Re: Reset Sends to zero with a button?

What I have done in the past is map the knob how you wish and then set up a button that sends the same CC # with a value of 0. Ah! That's smart! Will try it. Sounds like a possible solution. Thanks! No problem, I feel the need to put my random knowledge to good use which is pretty much the only rea...

Re: One knob for multiple FX

My initial response was a bit confusing but that's what I was getting at, sometimes it's difficult to put an explanation into words but I'm sure among the multitude of tutorials out these days you can find one that walks you through the process of setting up the controller script and macro mapping y...

Re: One knob for multiple FX

You need to look into controller scripts and device control. Macro map your filters to racks and then your device control knobs will control the currently selected rack, meaning the same knob will control your filter but ONLY on the track that is selected.. that's what you're going for right?

Re: One knob for multiple FX

Instead of manually mapping these 4 knobs you could macro map them and use the device control method to select a track and tweak only the selected rack, if that makes any sense.

Re: How do I get a sample to stop playing at the end of a bar?

Turn the release all the way down? Hard to tell exactly what is happening but it sounds like the sample is playing out after the MIDI note is finished which would be because of the Release setting on the instrument

Re: Reset Sends to zero with a button?

What I have done in the past is map the knob how you wish and then set up a button that sends the same CC # with a value of 0. If you are trying to reset ALL of the sends this may not be possible as they are probably all mapped to different CC #'s. If you don't end up going with Kapture you may also...

pitch detection to Live parameter modulation
I think the m4l forum would be a better place for this question
You may be able to hack the envelope follower to respond to pitch instead of amplitude.

Re: Non USB MIDI Controller

There could be various solutions to your problem using virtual midi ports though ethernet. The reason he is asking is because he wants to configure a redundant backup so if the first computer went down the virtual MIDI ports would probably also go down which would defeat the purpose. Seems like mos...
