Re: Izotope Revoice promo requires iLok and I want to kill

Late to the game here, but in the light of the Izotope promo for Synchro Arts Revoice I got today in the mail, I thought I should mention that after all the checkout and buy here details failed to mention, this is not for a license but rather for a dreaded access code to an iLok. They conveniently o...

Re: Revoice iLok Only (Sucks)

*ALERT* iLok only.
No one's going to tell you that up front. Even their own check-out says "Purchase License" not "Purchase Access Code" (for iLok)

Re: Linnstrument, Push 3 in advance?

Real life impact for Live performers? None. There's no support for polyphonic aftertouch for example in native ableton devices. That said, you wouldn't necessarily need to map the every multidimensional aspect of this controller to use it with a synth, even if that synth had polyphonic aftertouch.

Re: Need help for a trick (Advanced)

How would that be possible? Your keyboard would require premonition of which key you were going to press in order to lock out all the other ones. And then you'd need to tell them "okay, you can come out now." What if you put your keyboard in a mono, single voice preset without glide? Another thing y...

that's where those links came from. I'd rather you go straight to the source rather than wade through all the topics he very graciously hijacked. Somehow promoting 3rd party apps and OS X tricks felt like forum marketing.

Adding Additional Vertical Scale Offsets?

Hi! So Push has 3 options for note scale layouts that define the interval between rows, 4^, 3^, and sequent, which either results in an octave or an Augmented 5th (if I'm not mistaken) depending on In Scale or Chromatic Playing. What would I need to do to the Remote Scripts in order to add additiona...

Re: Voice Control of Live?

I wonder if Siri in Sierra would help? There's also Keyboard Maestro for macro events which can use diction prompts. The demo is 30 days full function. But the cusp is if the person in question has set up tab focus correctly and knows the keyboard strokes to move from one live object to the next. I'...

Re: New Live Export - Export to Ableton Live from iOS apps

yeah, it really opens my imagination to the sorts of tasks/activities I want to do on a mobile/touchscreen device. I think we'll all want to answer that question personally. When traktor came out with a tablet version I sort of told myself that I'd only relegate my time on it to prepping tracks and ...

Re: Transitions

aratunes is exactly right. You can make mega sets, and in fact a number of breakthrough templates that are available use this strategy. But let's suppose you stick with the track limitation in lite and don't have max. Sorry I can't post screenshots right now, but follow along as you have the Live br...

Re: Transitions

There's plenty of old advice on here under DJing with an external mixer, and back when dedicated mp3 players where still in vogue. Having a playback channel on an external board to mitigate crashes has been very important to people. There are other performers who can offer advice on weaving separate...

Re: Isotonik Studios Presents - Sigabort Control Surface Scripts

Any way of looking into whether a script could work for the Novation Circuit? Now that they introduced standalone scale presets with adjustable vertical offset on the Launchpad, I couldn't help but notice a similarity to Livid Instruments Base. Where lots of folks are reporting issues with the pads ...

Re: Revoice Pro Wins Pitch Correction Software Comparison

I'm not going to get into the price, but I think you do get some heuristic spending behavior by looking at the results of the Isotope sale. The rate of people getting it at the promo price is an indication of those who probably think the price of Revoice is better spaced apart. As for dysanfel, I ha...

Re: Stuff in Live you wish you figured out a long time ago

Angstrom, a collection of your operator presets would be a staple pack, IMO
I'm often randomizing values when I play, which is another reason why I don't open the lid on operator as much as it deserves. I haven't pinned down all the values that I can get away with
