I meant to say a powered hub is definitely what I'm after. :) Have you tried the old hub with your new Mac? Just because the PC didn't like it, doesn't mean the Mac won't. I think you know what I'll be trying out tonight. The new Macbooks are said to deliver too little power over USB, ...

A USB2 hub confirmed to work with a padKONTROL?????

I got a mac last week and need a hub. I know that my old cheap, crap hub did't work with my padKONTROL on my old PC. Plug the PK into the hub and nothing happens... plug it in directly and it works... I was hoping that someone could confirm a usb2 hub that works for the padKONTROL under OSX??? Cheers.

I pretty much only play drum and bass in a set. I do play accross the full scope of jungle though and it is a genre where the sub-genres do have very different sounds. Its interesting that people who play different genres talk about a vibe they like to stay in, but using different styles of music. I...

Downloaded the latest ones and when I try to install it goes through the motions, then tells me it can't be installed.

Totally confused by this, its just not giving me any 16:9 resolution settings. :/

OT: problem with screen resolution

Since I have had a wide screen monitor I have run my desktop at 1440x900 resolution and never had any problems. Last week a trip switch went in the house and the power went off. Unfortunately the battery in the lappy was almost dead and we didn't realise the trip went so it switched off after a whil...

If the guy is gunna do what he's says he should have no problem putting it in writing. Some one who won't back up their own word with a contract is a bullshitter as far as I'm concerned.

Well the last gig I went to with a live band was Reprazent at the Q-Club, their first gig in 5 years and they were amazing. If you mean like a more traditional type concert it was Gogol Bordello with La Phaze supporting, in Wolverhampton, UK. La Phaze actaully totally stole the show, they were aweso...

Chilled drum and bass for a sunny sunday.

I have recently started working with someone else and this is the first track by us; Nedos & CompositeOne. Its called A Better Tomorrow, and is a chilled-ish drum and bass track. Its kinda classical in influence with a bit of funk. Take a listen at www.myspace.com/compositeswerve its the top track i...

Making multi-samples

I want to create some multi-samples from some patches I have made in operator so that I can send them to my writing buddy who uses logic. Is there any sort of export feature so you could put in a range and note length that you want rendered to separate wavs? Otherwise has any one got any helpful tip...
