TROY wrote:eye pendulum page is ace how have they done that
I think its CCS overlays, instead of modifying the page "in the normal way" they just lay what they want over the top of the old layout. Its a really terrible way to build pages but I guess it gets the kids dribbling.

Can I get some feed back? (drum and bass tracks)

I upped another track to myspace today, "Hope (I can only)". I have had it knocking round for a couple of weeks now but thought I would put it up today to get some feedback. If you have the time take a listen to can't stop as well, that would be great, as all the feedback I can get is greatly welcom...

I try to layer bass up normally, starting with the lead bass sound, then dropping in some sub. Sometimes I might then drop the lead bass back on again but EQ it differently to the first. Take a classic Reese for example where its 2 layers of bass with the second slightly detuned. There is a Reese ma...

I guess it would be sensible for them to work on a software only version that they can "keep on the shelve" till multi touch screens become the norm, so that they can have a product to go with it out pretty quick. For now though I don't really see a need for them to actually release a software only ...

Well if its good enough for Tom COSM its good enough for me. Seeing how he uses his padKONTROL and this being almost exactly how I forsee myself using a controller has made me take the plunge. Just ordered a padKONTROL so lets hope I made the right choice.

The Alarm - Nice beats that drive along well and I really the way the snare cuts through the mix. The bass sounds you have are great as well being quite full and heavy. Over all I would agree with Sonarcade that the main loop is good but the whole tracks needs more variation. The Awakening - I like...

Hip hop Ejay back in the day came with a 12" record & plastic mount to put your mouse in just like that. It was shite but fairly amusing in a WTF type way. Lucky for me I already had a pair of 1200's. :) Only thing with all these mouse holsters is that with out the cross fader how do actually get a ...

Amazing videos and great to see someone not scared to give away his secrets. :) I have been making tracks and have enough now to put together a live set but was a little stumped at the best way to go about this and your videos have certainly helped. I'm interested in the same thing as some one up th...

Yeah right I was spun out by its bear like qualities.

Hmmm it also has a certain human quality too; like it used to be one. Maybe its EvilEvilEvilEvilEvil and thats why he won't post any more in this thread cause his new paws make it really tuff to type.

Oh god, thanks mike I was just about to order a padKONTROL, I mean I had it in my basket and everything, and thought I would have a quick look back at this thread to see if any one had anything to say and now I have the PK vs Akai dilemma to solve. Ahhhhhhhhh! Guess I will have a quick read today of...

Rather than having a global setting it would be good to be able to apply the groove "amount" to individual tracks. Can this be done anyway? :? I'm going to order a padKONTROL Monday cause I would like to try out playing some of my own beats as well. Mostly though I want to get get into triggering lo...

Yeah you are totally right. I just like putting some real subtle swing in I think it makes it sound a bit less mechanical maybe, that along with having everything else straight gives it a different feel. Altering the groove between loops gives you some variation again but IMO it has to be subtle, I ...
