Wow for £20 I almost feel like just taking a risk and buying it. I need a bit of excitment in my life. Trying to decide if the kick drum needs that 1db extra in the curve is just not cutting it for me any more.....

Mind you on the basis of this thread that doesn't really sound like much of a risk.

My company's IT department is located in India and it's a thrill a minute when I have to call over there to get something fixed. Beyond the usual IT being outsourced to India complaints or jokes, more times than not I'll watch them take over my computer romotely trying to fix something for like 20 ...

Right so looking through our library we basically use 2 companies. Audio Network PLC - www.audiolicense.net and BMG Zomba - www.bmgzomba.com - musicsearch@bmgzomba.com I thought we used a lot more but it turns out that actually BMG Zomba are massive and have a shed loads of different "brand" names. ...

will or can... RME is less likely to hum than M Audio, you get what you pay for, all the extra parts that go into a proper design. Strangly enough it was getting an M-Audio that solved my problem, crazy I know. I've seen bands where the lead singer got shocked every time he went to sing, f-ing hila...

Before I had a real interface (some would say I still haven't :P ) I used to get the same hum. I would have just removed the earth in the plug but as it was moulded plastic I was reduced to using an extension cord with the earth removed. I think the only real danger is if a liquid goes over your lap...

OT: Vista Home/Premium RAM requirements

I see on the microsoft site that for vista home you need 512MB of RAM but for premium you need 1GB. I have this feeling that the Home version only needing 512MB is bullshit and that really you would need 1 GB, as its the same OS really. Agree ? Disagree? Am I talking shit? (Forgive my ignorance I kn...

When I'm looking for drum and bass its a combination of listening to loads of DJ mixes downloaded from all over, plowing through the new releases on http://www.redeyerecords.co.uk & going to the record shop and talking to the guy who I have bought from for the last 4 years. The latter is always the ...

I just got 2 19" wide screens (1440x900) for a mere £109.99 each from maplins that were on sale. I had a mare to start but once I had finally got the refresh rate correct they have been great.
