Re: USB 3.0 audio interface? Anybody seen one; do they exist?

You can pump plenty of audio through a USB 2 interface you know. There's no point in building a 14 lane superhighway if the traffic only requires 2.

That RME is offering 18 channels of CD quality I/O at the same time - over USB 2

Re: Will a new processor really make that much difference?

You can probably get a better CPU which will enable you to do more number crunching. Although your existing CPU is probably more powerful than 99.99% of CPUs that have been used to finish computer based projects throughout the history of computer based music making. Time to bus/freeze/flatten some t...

Re: Weird distortion when exporting to .wav

You could always record the output of the channel into a new audio track in real time, and export from there.

Re: Inserting part in song without tempo???

It's also worth noting that, if this is meant for the dancefloor, you'll be annoying a lot of DJ's by going off-piste.

Re: why doesn't massive plug in...

Download a newer version of Massive from your NI Service Center and try that - the date indicates your version is old. The files size looks too small too.

Re: Maybe this is why there's no Live 9

I truly hope you don't honestly think that Apple would keep their OS updates secret from the companies that make products for their computers. I believe that until Apple this week announced it and released the 'developer's preview', nobody outside of Apple knew about it. Which is why it wasn't leak...

Re: bitwig price $470 (360 euro)

Not sure what the problem is with charging 300 notes for a professional piece of software. There's plenty of choice out there for those who'd prefer a budget option.

Yup, the new version of OSX that nobody outside of Apple knew existed until yesterday is the reason that Live 9 hasn't been released. Well done!

If rapping over whatever sound is currently fashionable is hip-hop, then I'd like to submit 'Snap - Rhythm is a Dancer' for scrutiny as a potential hip-hop classic.

Re: Future NI TRAKTOR going the live way

then months later NI releases a watered down and cheaper version that would have worked for them in the first place. If we're talking Maschine then Maschine and Mikro were released 2.5 years apart. With the S4/S2, all the big manufacturers are now releasing 2 and 4 deck controllers. The S4 was pret...
