bringing automation from arrangement into session clips is worth upgrading even with a clumsy browser.

This is a mac user request (but I'm sure PC user have their own :mrgreen: ) When browsing trough the browser > if I select -let'say- a session, I'm so used to the mac cmd-O to open a file that I almost half the time misuse and forget to "enter" (wich in live is more like THE BIG lauch clip or scene ...

i think what the guy wants is to separate recordings in midi... he wants to split the track that has a midi clip (Hihat-kick-snare...) into midi tracks(Hihat)(Kick)(Snare) that have only one of these... Most people use duplicates and then erase all the unwanted data to achieve this... But you could ...

well this tutorial is for having separate tracks going IN the drumrack not the other way around... once you put some device that access to samples like the drumrack, the output will be treated as audio. You could create clips in the studio or onstage with Record Quantization enabled...and if the Quantization ruined the feel or funk of the sequence, you could hit Undo and it would revert back to its natural state instantly. Otherwise you just leave it alone and bam: you're done. you mean cmd-Z wasn...
