well, it doesn't work...

Re: 'Nudging' audio on timeline in tiny sample increments?

MMMMhh, this is not exactly what I call nudge. Nudge for me is : -moving a whole clip, or extending its starting bracket or its ending brackets inside a track accordingly to a premade interval (accordingly to grid or within some userdefined interval -from sample to XXX msec) Using the arrow keys and...

Re: cmd-L = Cycle mode ON....what about OFF ?

Thats not actually what cmnd+L does. It is 'select loop' . U can justkeymap the 'l' key to 'arrangement loop' and save in ur template. No it's cmd-shift-L to select loop (on mac, I don't know about PC) Cmd-L is cycling the selected loop (more like cycling selection), but doesn't toggle "out of cycl...

Re: Change 'Categories' in Live 9 browser?

Remember that a Category is a filter, not an actual folder. Best way to explain it so far. People are getting focused on categories. I think there are Different cases when working with live. 1.You know what you're looking for but you don't know where it is. (Pianolike instru, drumkits, banjo, flute...

Yes you can get your own stuff to show up in Sounds etc. Create a folder in your User Library with a suitable name and make sure your preset is directly in it. A suitable name is one like Bass, which is in Live's list. Details here

oups the answer is here already

Re: Change 'Categories' in Live 9 browser?

YES YOU CAN ! But actually "drums" is a categorie of the refining search it's not really a folder place on your hard disk... It's all about the difference of those categories and the user lib. DRUMS = User lib > Presets > Instruments > Drumrack (for example) but it contains also the drums sound of c...

Re: Question about controlling tempo via clips in session view

Okay I understand your problem. If you have M4L, there is one great device that is called "Live tempo automator". wich can let you target tempo and Ramp to it up or down for 1 to 32bar, it's not instant recall, but quite some smooth transition , it might help you automate the thing... In M4L you mig...

Re: Question about controlling tempo via clips in session view

If you name a scene with XXXBPM in the name, it highlights in Orange and then when it launches it adapt the tempo to the "XXX"

Re: Pasting at marker !!!!!!!

Okay I'm on 9.0.4 It still doesn't do it. The closest I get is to put the nav bar on the track I want to paste then Alt-arrow to send it to the marker then paste. But if I recall the marker directly it wont paste. But it blinks in the right track at the right place. :? The Finn, just to be su...
