i love my sony mdr-v600 headphones. love em.

they're good for recording, too, because they don't have a lot of bleed.

i had a struggle in my brain between the novation remote 37 sl, and the m-audio axiom 49. in the end i chose the m-audio, because it was waaaaaay cheaper. i love it but, the novation's got that joystick and the readouts. if that's worth the extra $150 to you, and you don't mind it being 3 octaves as...

that's a good chunk o' change for a midi keyboard:) could probably get a novation remote sl 37 for that. i have an axiom 49 that i'm totally happy with, but i hear those novations are great-they even have a readout on the top of the encoders to tell you which thing your knobs are tweaking. the axiom...

rendering individual tracks +sends?

i'd like to render one track at a time, but have the sends get printed with that track.

is this possible?

if not, is the best workaround to mute all the tracks except for one at a time + sends?

make sure you put a "popper stopper" between your mouth and the mic. get very very very close, like less than an inch. try not to breath into the mic-if you breathe, do it at an agle away from the mic.

also, you can make a popper stopper out of a hanger and pantyhose.

i got both midiyoke and the tobybear deals, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to make them work. quick and dirty quarter-tones (for vsts with a global pitch bend in cents such as simpler)- in a rack, open two of the same thing. set the zone on on for the lower half of your keyboard, the o...

dj superflat- i don't know what andre's actual patches look like (except a bit of how he made his triggers in the g2) but for mine: you send the audio (yeah just raw audio), put a filter on it to try to isolate the sound, and then have it go through a "compare to level" module. when it hits a peak,...
