advice on using ableton generatively?
what i've been sitting here trying to do, crashing the computer over and over again with some rewire thing- blasting the clip record buttons with an external sequencer over midi, at the same time as resampling the master (the resample setting) it's working, but it gets these little buzzy errors, and...

I tend to just push the ratio up and the threashold down and then keep the attack and release really low... it's sad isn't it....... lol that one hits close to home. one thing i'm glad i learned about is side chaining compression. also, eq+ compression is a great tool-i always end up using eq-> com...

maybe this is a good place to ask: wouldn't recording/working at a higher sample rate make time-stretching and pitch shifting better? like, theoretically, in a 44.1K recording, everything above 22.05K is folded over, which you can't hear, but if you drop the whole thing one octave, all that stuff fr...
