Re: The human condition
The system would also be a lot more efficient than the current one. I already said unemployment would be eliminated. So would jobs like arms production. So would many other jobs such as selling health insurance. So the number of people doing useful jobs would be vastly increased, let's say doubled....

The clear glass ones which you can:
a) cut up yer sherbet on
or
b) get someone to squat over and do toilet games with whilst you lie underneath with your mouth open
They are advertised as such in most branches of Ikea.
Personally, I drink tea.

Re: The Hobbit?
The Lord of The Rings is about 1100 pages if I remember. They stretched it out to 3 films. And they dragged on a bit. The Hobbit is about 300 pages. And they are making 3 films from that. The first one covers the first 6 chapters... I tried and failed to get into the book on numerous occasions in my...

Were you attacked by a pair of DT100s as a kid or something Rick?
All in the past now. These instruments of torture can't get to you, as no-one uses them any more. Just breeeathe, (from the diaphram, remember!) and listen to some pan pipes on your pro headphones of choice.

Re: Bass
Not much point in EQing sine waves remember. They have no harmonics to filter in or out, just a pure single frequency. You will only be changing volume, not timbre - as they have no timbre.
Still, my 13 bit S950 sine wave had way much more character than your pristine 16 bit S1000 one...

Re: The human condition
]I think capitalism influences everyone in a psychopathic direction, and then factors such as class, family history, and perhaps genes come into play to determine the outcome. Look at Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia in the late 30s, or Rwanda during the genocide. Half the population seem to have bec...

Re: How do you produce?
no rules here except for one: template consist of 10 midi tracks w/ operators only. Each of them has 2 separate presets in midi controller, so I start with either simple midi clip (one note - usually c3) or by hitting the midi keyboard. Then starts the magic. 8) "Could it be Magic?" Barry...

Re: The human condition
Nurture has been proven a thousand times over to have a direct conclusive connection to criminal behavior, nature has yet to have any results at all that are conclusive. Whilst this is generally true, psychopaths are virtually universally acknowledged to be like they are by nature. They can not be ...

Re: The human condition
Nice post BTW - except the bit about culling them, it would take a psychopath to think like that! 8O In his book, Ronson attends a psychiatric seminar held by Bob Hare, the creator of the definitive test for psychopathy. Being a sensitive sort, upon leaving Ronson comments to another attendee that ...

yet producing a track I find is better from arrangement.. just look at cosm and how he builds it up as he goes along.. I find it more intuitive? Like I say, you may want to check out some other avenues. If you already have the Mac, Logic is a no-brainer at the price. well what does it have that Liv...

Anger? You repeat like a parrot, or kid without your own thinking, proper research not just marketing info that you found on manufacturer site. The reasons for DT 100 popularity was robust construction, low price, easily replaceable parts and the isolation, making them useful for TV camera men, tra...
