Re: Ableton serously?! Library erased after launch of 9.6 !
What contradicts file paths being the issue in Guillermo's case, is the fact that these did work up until the update. Indeed. In fact, according to his statements, they continued to work even after the update . It was only later after having some problems with Push2 that he noticed they were missin...

Re: VST synths going in and out of key problem
Are you using the Zebra2 VST synth? If so, have you entered your registration code?
Going in and out of tune periodically is a "feature" of Zebra2 in demo mode. Once you enter a registration code, it stops doing that

Re: Hey here's something weird/cool (analog vs operator)
I confirmed the effect with the default settings of Analog. To fix it, change the Amp envelope slopes from EXP to LIN (exponential to linear). You probably would want to change the filter envelope slopes as well. I didn't confirm, but I would expect them to work the same way. (Then again, for a 30 m...

Re: How do you clean your Push?
I just duct-tape it to the side of my car and take it to one of those drive-thru automatic car wash places. Gets even stubborn stains out and always comes out squeaky clean.

Re: Record 16bit, Export 16bit - needs dithering??
If all I'm doing is recording and then exporting -- no processing, no mixing, no folding down, no non-neutral operations whatsoever on a single, simple stereo track -- why does Live say, "Converting bit depth with Dithering"? Live behaves as though any signal you feed it is automatically transposed...

Re: Organising subfolders/samples/drum racks etc?
You can create as many folders and sub-folders as you want in the User Library and drag any drum racks or presets into them.Citizen wrote:ALL my drum racks (for example) are in one subfolder of the heirarcy. Is there a way to create sub-folders to better organise them?

Re: Live 9.5 is adding high feqs to all samples
in the meantime if anyone else has any suggestions it would really help OK, I'll take my turn in this game of "stump the chumps." :) To my ear, that sounds like a bad sample rate conversion. I tried playing with your original sample (the .wav file) in Live 9.5 on my Mac. I couldn't reproduce your p...

Re: What annoys you about Push 2?
It annoys me that Push 2 doesn't greet me in the studio each day with a personalized message. When I turn it on, something like "good morning Erik" should scroll across the screen. I can't believe this wasn't included in the first release, thank you Jesse for promising to fix this ;) You jest, but ...

Re: Push2 power fault
You DO have the power adapter (the "wall wart") plugged into a live outlet, don't you? Unlike Push 1, Push 2 won't work properly without the external power supply. If you ARE using the external power supply and are seeing this, then it sounds to me like there's a hardware problem, either with the po...

Re: Houston..."we have a problem"...Or may be it's just me!
IIRC, Ableton made a change to how Live does warping of samples in 9.2 (I think). The first time a newer version of Live has to load a sample that had been used with an older version, it has to reanalyze it and write the new information to disk, which takes some time. That could be what you're runni...
