Re: Push Cover / Stand

A few months ago I bought Pyle-Pro PLPTS2 laptop stand from Amazon to hold my Push Controller. It was ok but the tray that it sat on was just a thin flimsy piece of plastic. The picture on Amazon looked much thicker and better quality but what I got was crap. The edges were jagged and it flexed too ...

Re: Odd issue with Push and ASIO buffer sizes

hmmm, you used to be able to set the audio device and plug-in buffer sizes independently using an option in the CPU preferences of Live. i'm on 9.1.3 now and that option seems to have disappeared... I see. Perhaps that's the reason why I'm having this issue because I don't recall having this issue ...

What do you mean by plug-in buffer size? I'm not familiar with that term.

Re: Odd issue with Push and ASIO buffer sizes

Increasing the ASIO buffer size to 128 does allow Push to work as it should but I'm trying to get the lowest buffer/latency I can. My system runs excellent at 64 and 32 buffer size, it just causes issues running Push. I did send a message to tech support and they were able to reproduce the problem i...

Odd issue with Push and ASIO buffer sizes

I'm running live 9.1.3 and I've just noticed an odd issue when it comes to Push and ASIO buffer sizes. I'm primarily using a Focusrite 6i6 and I first noticed that the whenever I turn on Push and then start Live 9.1.3 the buttons on along the left and right side of Push do not light up. (Volume, Tra...

Re: Is there anyone who use windows 8

I've been using Windows 8/8.1 since it came out and it has worked great with Live 9. As far as Windows 7 vs Windows 8 here's my take on it. While I don't care for the new metro gui interface I don't spend a lot of time on the metro screen. After my computer boots I go straight to the desktop and tha...

Re: PC USERS: What DAW are you using in addition to Live?

Reason 7.1 (New update just came out today). I've been using Reason since version 1. I recently started using Live 9 Lite back in December and eventually upgraded to Suite. I actually now prefer Live 9 for Live Performance but I still use Reason for ideas and some of the instruments and Rack Extensi...

Re: Scenes playing automatically one after another

You can sort of work around this without max4live. Select all the tracks at the top from left to right and press Ctrl+G to group them. This creates a group of all the selected tracks and now you can setup a follow action to play the next scene for each scene on the grouped tracks. I read how to do t...

In other news, i also think the pads are not sensitive enough.
You can change the sensitivity of the pads on Push to your liking which is what I did on mine to make it easier to play.

Re: How to put a image in my own packs ?

I did some digging at some of the factory packs and downloads and it seems that all of them have a "Lessons" folder. In there is a categories folder and a sub-folder with a category description text file. There is another sub-folder with the lesson. For example Guitar and Bass Lessons. In that folde...

Perhaps this is just what you're looking for! PusheR just came out and it looks like it will fit the bill nicely for what you want to do.

Re: Getting a Good Electric Guitar Sound

Has anyone ever tried Kuassa Vermilion or Creme? I use them as a Rack Extension in Reason but they have a VST as well. My friend who is an anti-software guitarist was pleasantly surprised when he heard what they could do. He even wants to buy the plugins as well. Kuassa's plugins offer amp and cabin...

Re: NOVATION :LAUNCHKEY 49 syncing to LIVE 9

I bought a Launchkey 25 after Thanksgiving last year and it's been working fine with Windows 8 and 8.1 since I've had it. It only does one strange thing. When I first plug it in and open live and create a midi track, I play a few keys and then it stops taking input for a second or two, then it works...

Re: Pen Tablet Support

I'm using a Wacom Intuos 5 small with Live with no problems at all. However I will caution you that in order to use a pen tablet you must modify Live's Options.txt file to add pen tablet support. It's really easy to do and takes seconds to accomplish. You can read more on this here: https://www.able...
