It is necessary to activate VST plugins before they are accessible on MacOSX. The default installation of Live 4.0.3 does not make them automatically available. On the PC this isn't always necessary (particularly if you've previous had Cubase or another VST capable host application installed - an en...

Incidentally, when Live4 was reviewed in Sound on Sound magazine (it made the cover - yay!) the reviewer mistakenly stated that it LACKED solo in place ... How could the reviewer miss it while browsing the menus while doing a thorough review ? Weird ... whatever ! ... at least it does exist ! jASeFOs

At current for duties where I need to record Groove Agent's MIDI output it is necessary to interrupt my ...

Dearest Ableton Team .... Now that you're making a MIDI sequencer (and I must say one of the most refreshing, writer's-block-breaking pieces of software to date), it's important to at least understand the competition (Emagic, Steinberg, DP) has been giving this sort of flexibility to its users for m...

How to adjust metronome volume level and output bus ?
Howdy folks,
Just wandering if there is any way to adjust the metronome's volume level ?
Is it possible to route the metronome, for instance, to the PFL bus ?
Cheers

One of the new features advertised for the Live 3.0 upgrade was the ability to playback MIDI clips with transposition with respect t o the MIDI note number played. I cannot find anything in the documentation that mentions how this may be accomplished. Can anyone point me to any online articles that ...
