I would suggest to give the arm a rest... not only when DJing, but in your whole life if possible. If you feel like the laptop is too high, why don't you use a lower stand? Oh and I also had problems some time ago when I was playing 3 times a week, 2 of 3 in a club where the mixer and the decks wer...

Long term use of "over-deck" laptop stands - OUCH!

Howdy Fellow Ableton Crew, Just wandering, if any of you have experienced the following issue with the wanderous machine that is the human body? After producing for coming close to 20 years, I've finally been bitten by the DJ bug and have become hopelessly addicted to DJing. I've been teaching mysel...

Fix for plug-ins not receiving key commands (Win only)

Hi Folks, Just thought I'd add this into the knowledge-pile since after several keyword searches of the forum and the FAQ I couldn't quickly find an article which addresses this issue. This is particularly important for plugins such as Native Instruments Kore which have text search functions for fil...

Re: what was your worst hardware purchase of all time?

Stiefelmusic said someone should start this thread. So here goes... me: Steinberg Houston... thank god I could trade it for something else. I had the opportunity to buy one of these for less than $500AUD when they were being cleared out ... even that price wouldn't make me jump for it. Steinberg we...

10.5.3 and Live 7.0.7 have been working perfect over here. I'm very happy with both. I was having some problems with 10.5.2 and previous versions of live. I then down graded to 10.4.11 and came back when the 10.5.3 update came out and I'm loving it. The only thing about leopard is make sure u got a...

Yes please .. +1

Considering I own many plugin synths which have more than 128 parameters (immediate examples coming to mind: Sonic Charge microTonic and Korg MonoPoly), it is very frustrating that I cannot "reach" parameters beyond the limit.

Cheers

try and track down a cheap pair of KRK V6's. They are much better moniters than the RP series. I owned a pair of rp8's and have moved to the V6 and am very happy with the change. You ought to be able to find the V6's for pretty cheap. I personaly like the KRK speakers but these things are all taste...
