I drag those over to the second monitor and see live on the other.

You can select MP3 (and your quality requirement) as your file preference under preferences, import.

Are you using loads of plug ins on those live loops? If so the best way is to set up your parameters and then freeze the tracks one by one as you build. This drastically reduces the cpu loading. I layer loads of guitars and stuff in loops and I find you can eliminate real CPU pressure with the freez...
