Yes, I have rea...

yeah its so funny to put people down by comparing them to disabled people - like when he says the guy must make a bad gun sounds because he "took a special bus to school" and proceeds to show how "retards" talk - top notch humour

I have not used the sp8's, but I own the original 20/20 BAS (which I have had for about 6 years) and I have no desire to upgrade. My events are smooth, full and non-fatiging - I like them very much!!!

I was really annoyed by this and found a great solution: You can undervolt with a program called "Coolbook Controller" (http://www.coolbook.se/CoolBook.html $10) It works well and also lets you set the Frequency your processor operates at (useful for clocking down to 1 ghz when on battery doing ligh...

The NT2A seems to be well isolated just using the included clip as the housing is high quality. from Sound on Sound: "One factor many manufacturers seem to ignore is the effect of the acoustic properties of the housing on the sound. How many mic baskets ring if you tap them? Rode used mathematical m...

I think that the main difference is the "seamlessly variable" dials as opposed to the fixed position switches os the NT2-A - Unless you want absolute control I'd save the money (I have an NT2A and it rocks!)
