I had a similar problem, I ended up replacing hardware :( - Swapped using the onboard SATA controller for an Adaptec 1430SA - this cured sound drop outs and latency problems when the drives were being accessed. - Swapped using the onboard Firewire controller for a Belkin PCI-E Firewire 800 - this cu...

Manually setting envelope values by typing?

The ability to set breakpoint envelope values by typing in a value rather than dragging the line/breakpoint around?

An example: So say I wanted to set the track volume to -3.2db, could I say select the line, hold a hotkey and type in -3.2

Thanks man, I've looked through the manual and also through the preferences and can't find it, would it be a setting in options.txt?

Have options to set default values/modes of samples

An example would be to set a default for Hi-Q mode in samples to ON, so every sample imported/loaded would have it turned on rather than having to manually turn it on for all

Manually setting envelope values by typing?

Any one know if its possible (and if so how) in Live7 to set breakpoint envelope values by typing in a value rather than dragging the line/breakpoint around?

In addition, this is an excellent post that describes the 32bit depth audio file. http://www.audiomastersforum.net/amforum/index.php/topic,99.0.html I disagree with comments around not using the higher rates because one person can't tell the difference. Many people hear audio slightly differently an...

Hi Funkstar, I own a mastering house/organisation which is part of a larger label and I agree - if anyone handed us a non mastered track in MP3 (unless there was an extremely good reason for using MP3) we would tell them where to go... We've been able to get good results at 192k / 24bit with Live 6....

Anyone know how to unlock/reload the ASIO driver?

Randomly, something in my system locks the driver in DirectX mode, so when I use the Fireface in DirectX mode it works fine but flick it to ASIO mode and no sound comes out. Resettings the Fireface fixes it but is there a way to unlock or reload the audio driver using software? OS is Vista x64 btw C...

Hi Simmo, the problem occurred on my computer as well, and it also happened in Live 6---could you maybe check that again, please? From what I can see, the preset you are using on the Albino has a rather long release and is set to unlimited voices. For me, the CPU usage went down when I lowered the ...
