...or a rack full of simplers with each simpler instance mapped to just one key, with each step mapped in a chromatic scale. Doesn't work as nicely as FL studio, but it doesn't take a whole lot longer to get the same results.

it's fun to use as a vocal chopper. Toss a verse of spoken words in there and make a clip envelope to automate the start point of the sample... Which FW interface NOT to buy for MBP?
Browsing and searching through the forums, it seems to be a crapshoot with firewire interfaces for intel macs. So for those of you who have macbooks/macbook pros, which firewire interface do you NOT recommend, and why? Any and all input is appreciated.

After resampling, you can be left with a good stab-lead sound, or even some...
