Maybe I'm wrong but I would think its something in Massive you're not noticing or an interface issue somehow... find it hard to believe Ableton would be doing random, explicable things to the synth...

I think the above 2 replies are sarcasm but I'm finding it hard to be sure! :lol:

Using LFO to extend the sample I guess...

But its still a workaround (no gag intended) and doesn't seem exactly ideal.

As long as kick and bass aren't phasing or over-clashing, no. Then its just a taste issue. My taste for e.g. is I generally find kicks that aren't tuned to the track, just left as whatever the sample was, less pleasant than tuned ones and I don't really know why everyone doesn't tune their kicks, of...

Your own sound will come naturally from not trying to copy any one person in particular or use any one particular plug-in or effect but instead just realising what you imagine hearing.

It can automatically timestretch from within Drum Rack when you change pitch without manually having to do anything else..?
