wow... confusing post.
I assume you mean you recorded the hardware synths to audio tracks.
Now only one is playing even though you can see all of them?

Did you "solo" the one track that's playing?

one snare hit? or a loop of several snares? If its a loop that contains several snare hits, I bet you recorded too little audio .. i.e. you are trying to stretch a 3.3 beat loop to 4.0 beats long, so the last warped beat is getting time stretched to extend the loop. If this is the case, turn off war...

I still want to know if the audio level is "louder" versus "higher"... the latter sounds (possibly, not definitely) like DC offset. the Utility plugin could help rule out this possibility.

you could get these same results by improper setup of the soundcard's default settings on your computer. Unlikely, but still... you have the turntable, the mixer, the cables, the soundcard, the software and the computer all to worry baout... start ruling them out before trying to fix everything poss...

Yes. Check the manual, it has a chapter on Effects Racks, it'll tell you how to make a Rack with Simplers + individual effects for each chain.

For the cymbals, I'd add EQ8, set it to notch (the one that looks like a turtle shell), set the Q value pretty high, and then BOOST the level. Now, adjust the frequency of the EQ until the cymbals get really loud and annoying. Now change the boost to a cut (negative dB value). This should be decent ...

second guess is you should track down the source. Reverse the inputs from your record player and see if that switches the problem.

higher... or louder?

My first guess is you have a pan pot turned somewhere on your mixer, or a gain knob/slider turned up a little higher than it should be.

+1 for adding an Impulse preset to a MIDI track. Then just use your keyboard to pla ythe drums, or draw them in directly in the clip window. As long as your guitar and vocals were played in sync to Live's metronome, you should be done in minutes. If you just recorded guitar + vocals freeform, then y...

it says 1 bar

to switch between 7/4 and 4/4 beats in Live6, you will have to set this to "quarter note". (or change those clips' launch behavior individually)

"quantize menu" at the very top of your screen, middle, it says "1 bar" right now. Change that. yo ucan also do it on a clip-by-clip basis, but start with the global command.

So what have you tried? If you highlight a region in Arrangement mode, and hit that command, then switch over to Session mode: all the horizontal bars you highlighted have become a row of cells in Session Mode. You have to switch modes to see what happened. Try it with just one to start with. Once y...
