i doubt its random. How long is the Loop Length of your bass clip? If you don't know, you have most likely set the loop markers (and the sample start time) improperly... or more to the point, not set these at all.

read the manual section on audio clips, esp Warping and Loop Markers.

possibly, your rendered .wav is just fine, if you are listening to the file by re-importing it into Live (with the auto-warp feature turned on).

there is no link faders command like in cubase.

Either create a submit audio track and route everything there, or use the Master fader and make your life easy, it won't kill your audio quality unless you are making -100dB adjustments.

Um.... SESSION VIEW is the easiest EASIEST way to rearrange and remix music that I've ever ever ever seen and the #1 reason I bought Live. You can even highlight entire regions in arrangement view and copy them to session view with one easy command. Now your song, rather than going from left to righ...

No.

check the manual for "monitoring", pg 130 (in mine). It'll tell you about the various ways to adjust what gets sent to the master output and what doesn't (hint: you dont want your recorded track to be sent to hte master while recording, just the track you want processed)

Live does not host audiosuite plugins.

I'd suggest processing offline and importing the audio back into Live, especially for "live" perfromance if you can.

.asd files contain both the audio data as well as all the warp markers and stuff. Think of them like photoshop files... photoshop files may look just like pictures inside photoshop, but actually contain all sorts of info like layers and things that your slide-show application can't handle. You can h...

I should have 4 separate tracks instead of 2, stereo? yes... it's possible to have stereo inputs 1/2 and 3/4, but not be able to record from 1,2,3,4, individually. And its also possible to have solo record enabled or disabled...

um, you know you are walking into the classic "read the effin manual" reply here. Look up "working with audio clips" and "rendering audio" and there are very very good instructions there.

1. buy a multi-input soundcard
2. hook it up
3. under preferences, enable inputs 1-6 individually
4. create 6 audio tracks and assign them all an individal audio input (may have to hit I/O button to see the drop down menu)
5. arm & record
6. rock out
