Re: Show all plugins on all tracks at once!

Maybe a dumb question - how come this option exists but Ableton don't mention it before? who found out about it and how? I need to know these things... You can find all the options by scanning the Live binary files for text, don't know if that's how they found it, but its one way. There are likely ...

Re: Show all plugins on all tracks at once!

This really cool but it doesn't work exactly how i'd expect. I'd expect that you could double-click an effect shown here and the device viewer would move to show the effect you clicked. Kind of like a chooser for which device is front and center. Seems like an interesting intermediary step to a trad...

Re: What's new in Max for Live in Live 9?

True. New charcoal grey and cyan look and new "Essentials" pack is likely all that's new about those. The "not official content" and change from -Core to -Essentials primarily is to represent that Ableton employees didn't make all those devices. Many of them are 3rd party developers they teamed with...

What's new in Max for Live in Live 9?

Thought I'd aggregate from a few different sources and try to get a full list of what's new with Max for Live in Live 9. Anything I'm missing?

Re: Call for Live 9 testing for content from Maxforlive.com

The reverb is in the pack https://www.ableton.com/de/packs/max-live-essentials/ For me the new reverb was the important reason for buy live. and it sound great, much better as old.I test SIR2 before, but i like the live reverb more, because you can choose early reflection and late reverb waves sepe...

Call for Live 9 testing for content from Maxforlive.com

http://www.maxforlive.com/news/131/call-for-live-9-testing Greetings All. A growing number of device comments seem to reflect issues with devices in the Library and Live 9 and Max 6.1. With the pending release of Live 9 coming in a few weeks, and the inclusion of M4L in Live 9 suite, it is important...

Yes Max for Live supports OSC both inbound to the devices from anything and outbound to remote devices over whatever port you specify.

Re: Moog Voyager midi setup???? PLEASE HELP

you should post a screenshot of both your midi sync screen in preferences, and your session view with the routing showing. With my voyager I pretty much just plugged it in, enabled it for both the input and output ports for "track" and "remote" in preferences. and done. http://cl.ly/image/0H330c2V3...

Re: Do you turn your studio monitors off?

Electronic devices receive wear both from being turned on and from being constantly on. Which causes more depends on a huge number of factors. In studio monitors you basically have a power supply and a transistor audio amplifier. I'd say what's most likely electronic part to fail is the capacitors ...
