Re: Max for Live Integration with Arduino

It seems like Arduino2Max is what I'm looking for but the included patch is only for Max and not for Max for Live. If I could open the Max patch, I could copy and paste the text for the patch to use it in Max For Live but unfortunately I'm unable to use the standalone Max to copy the patch so I'm at...

Re: Max for Live Integration with Arduino

So the methods of connecting Arduino to standalone Max won't work with Max for Live?

Re: Driver error compensation help

I had this same problem actually. The little dip you're seeing is Ableton's really subtle fades they put on all their audio. Right click on the lower audio clip and click show fades so you can get rid of it, making it identical to the other waveform again.

Hope this helps!

Max for Live Integration with Arduino

Hey guys! So I've been working with both the Arduino micro controller as well as Max for Live quite a bit lately, however currently unable to bridge the gap between the two at all. I'm itching to be able to do this, as I can't stop thinking of the possibilities this allows. I've messed around with m...

Re: Pitch Bending Envelope

When you're using glide, the bend only happens with over overlapping notes, so click whatever notes you want to bend into the next and hit legato in Live.

Re: Pitch Bending Envelope

Try a combination of glide and legato. So rather than using pitchbend, you draw in the note you want the note to bend to and then add glide on your synth so it bends to the note rather than playing instantly.

Re: How Can I Send Midi Messages From An Audio Effect?

Your M4L device will need to be an audio device because that's the only one that has an Audio In. If you run the Audio just as a pass through and then just tap it for your processing you should be able to generate midi information from there. The problem comes with routing the midi info as a midi t...

How Can I Send Midi Messages From An Audio Effect?

Hey guys! So I'm working on a Max For Live device that allows me to process audio and send out midi messages in reaction to the incoming audio. Unfortunately I'm stuck, as I can't figure out a way to create a device with the limitations of Max For Live that receives audio as input and sends midi dat...

re:dream wrote:There is no cause for worry.

Just for interest's sake - what pedal is it, what audio interface, and why / how is it causing clipping?
It's a Roland Space Echo being fed into a Focusrite 18i20. The feedback can get pretty crazy and create a clipping signal pretty quickly if not care

Re: Can Clipping Damage Equipment?

It's not likely than an audio interface will be damaged in any way from digital clipping. I'm not referring to clipping within Ableton but rather clipping audio that's being fed into the interface. I have some pedals that tend to produce a clipping signal if not careful and I just want to make sure...

Just to clarify, I'm talking about damaging physical audio equipment; my audio interface in particular.

Can Clipping Damage Equipment?

Hey guys, so the title is pretty self explanatory. I'm just wondering if clipping audio is damaging to equipment in any way (besides speakers).

Thanks
