Re: What did you bought on Back Friday Sale ?

A couple of Rack Extensions, so Reason is now truly my Rack with all my synths! What more heavenly than having the goods of Ableton with the goods (CV routing, crazy modular) of Reason!?

Re: touchAble 2 is on the App Store.

Is the USB connection through a jailbroken iPad? I'd love to see this working without having to "modify" my Air2. Was thinking of picking this up but looks like maybe I should wait? I don't know if you have any experience jailbreaking, but for me an iPhone/iPad without a jailbreak is a "limited" de...

Re: touchAble 2 is on the App Store.

So, when is touchAble 3's going to be announced? Few days already became 1,5 week! Panic! No but seriously, I'm so stoked to see what you guys have in mind. Saw the USB connection, which is already a great solution (not having to use MyWi anymore!) and I'll hope you have incorporated more devices, s...

Re: A BCR2000 script which respects track banking?

Well, curious about the Isotonik scripts. Hope that, for the BCR 2000, the scripts will not be that DJ focussed. I too just want some track banking; the Mackie template was way too difficult to remember and having too many options crammed into one encoder.

Re: I made my lovely skin for your pleasure (Logic pro X design)

I would have used it if the midi notes were a little bit lighter. There's also a great Logic Pro X skin of Ableton on Sonic Bloom, I guess.

Re: Custombuilt Music Computers

Mac Pro is really, really overkill for music production. Why going for a server processor instead of a consumer one?! The price really add up. I built my own computer in 2010 (Intel i5 760, 12GB RAM, GTX 460 and nowadays an SSD) and that one is still rocking everything I throw at it. Multiple Zebra/...

Screen monitors: 2x 21"/22"/23" Full HD or 27" qHD

Nowadays I'm using a 24" Full HD screen. Have it now for over 4 years and although I still love the widescreen resolution, I can't help but feel that I need a lot more of screen estate. So basically, I have two options: Getting a Dell U2713HM (27", 2560x1440 resolution) which has an USB-hub and is h...

Re: Record delayed Signal only?

Solo'ing the delay and record to an Audio Track via Resampling (if you open i/o)? I'm not on my computer right now, but IIRC, solo'ing still makes sure the Send receives input.

Re: Operator Vs Analog

Wow, really great insights in the way how Operator works. Thank you for that. I'm still wondering, regarding the 4 oscillators, 1 filter-principle; do you know if it's possible to route each oscillator through its own output? That would be really great, to have a rack in which every Operator gets it...

this machine you can get as desktop for 600 € - so if you do not plan to travel with your music - go for a desktop and buy a strong notebook later - when you already have some tracks. +1. I've built my computer 4 (!) years ago, an Intel i5 760 with a GTX 460 videocard. Still doing the job till this...

Re: Tape delay loop emulator with play and record heads control?

A good source of information of Plastikman's liveshow is Nicolas Bougaïeff's thesis. He toured with Richie during a few Plastikman shows and you'd be surprised by the tools Richie uses. He uses Drumazon, Nepheton, ADM and ABL2. But that's not what you're interested in, specifically. The delays that ...

Re: D16 Drumazon (TR909 VST) : Write patterns with keyboard?

You mean in the Drumazon sequencer? It is not possible. Maybe you are interested in my Drum Racks? I have made and correspond them to the appropriate MIDI inputs, so that you can trigger the sounds from the keyboard. However, native in Ableton's sequencer, not in the Drumazon's one. One still has a ...
