I have had this happen with crappy midi controller drivers. For instance, version 1.04 of the CME drivers would cause this. I rolled back to version 1.03, problem goes away. Go back to 1.04, I am back in hell.

I don't think you can have more than one instance of Reason running at a time. Leastwise, I can't get it going here. When I double-click on the Reason icon on the desktop to start a second instance, it simply brings the existing instance into the foreground.

I haven't tested it with FX Freeze yet. As soon as I finish testing it with the Giga products, I will test it. So far, I have not found any issues.
