So, I'm able to open the clip view side from the first 4 tracks. Structure is not there at all. The error could be caused by a problematic plugin on channel 5. I think there should be a tool for editing .als files in a case like this. Removing one plugin could help in opening the rest of the projec...

fwiw I've been getting numerous crashes myself running a mac and either 9.0.6 64 bit or 32 bit. For some reason old ableton projects increasingly crash ableton (in my experience) Sorry I can't be of more constructive help. Guy Smiley - I have both - the 50 rendered tracks was on an external HD . Normally my projects sit on the same disk as samples. sounds like a dodgy plugin ? or an iffy soundcard driver ? when you click on render. the top selection box is called 'rendered track'
Have you set this to "All Tracks" or "Master" ? I suspect it may be set to your instrumental track.

session and arrangement view can be viewed as seperate environments with capabilities to easily transfer between them. There are numerous ways of utilising this to your advantage.
