Re: Rise Rainbow Push...Rise!

Glad to hear we are getting somewhere, I'm still gonn try to exchange though, a couple months is a long time.

Maybe they will go one step further and allow official custom colors. Don't expect it but would be cool.

Re: Rise Rainbow Push...Rise!

I've been assuming for the last while that I am one of the lucky ones who got a 'white' push. My lights are ever so slightly discoloured, but I hardly notice it. I just checked what mine looks like when photographed. I killed the lights, and took a picture of my Push with my trusty Canon. It looks ...

Any way to make a custom push scale

I would be interested to know how to make a custom scale in note mode? Maybe a max for live device or even cooler a way to edit the note mode script. Anyone try it?

Re: Rise Rainbow Push...Rise!

It is a hardware flaw and should be fixed ASAP... They should use better quality components to fix this problem... it's a limitation of current LED technology. to achieve exact full colour matching with 64 pads would make the Push so expensive that nobody would buy it. I really doubt that is the ca...

Re: Multiple shades of gray/white

I wonder if this is why nobody else had delivered a multicolored pad controller before: small difference between three leds on each pad are a big source of variation. NI has done it, but they obviously know that the problem is there and they dont use white to prevent this, bright colors seem to wor...

Re: Rise Rainbow Push...Rise!

You can be sure that if they can't figure out how to fix the LED issue with software but then get the manufacturing problem fixed, that this first run of units will be worth a lot less upon resale. And you know eventually they will come out with Push 2.0 and we are going to want to trade up.

Re: Push Secrets - aka tiny tips

Maybe everyone is already working this way, but I just stumbled upon something neat with Push and Live 9. You can record automation into an empty clip for whatever parameter you want to adjust and then let it loop and start to play push (or any other midi device) through note mode and jam while your...

Re: Multiple shades of gray/white

Put push in drum rack mode, step sequence two notes, one on a pad that is pink and one on a pad that is white. Adjust the velocity by holding the pad down and turning the velocity knob, try to match the velocity through the push controller only without looking on screen. Since the pads are not unifo...

Re: Rise Rainbow Push...Rise!

It's like reading yoda. Its great that julian bayle put the info out but It's a work around not a solution, and it doesn't recalibrate LEDs, which is what is needed, it just lets you choose colors that don't show the problem as much. Regardless if we do this or not ableton should admit the problem a...

Re: QC

Hey if you guys are interested, we are trying to get a count of people who have good push controllers and those with LED variations. If you feel like voting maybe we can get ableton to recognize the issue and put forth a fix.

Re: Rise Rainbow Push...Rise!

It's not a judgement or aimed to you, or you there, or another, but about you to wait for Push while others can wait if they wish to, they would dream more precisely. Let's play your game : it's a queestion of time before someone post some "it looks fucking gay" shit if you stay on your "rainbow" n...
