Re: Count-in in Ableton Push
Ok just tried several times. Start Recording on Scene Launch option does not affect it. Still no count-in when I press the record button on the second attempt. Goes right into the recording.

Re: Count-in in Ableton Push
The punch in and punch out were not engaged. In session view the count in ONLY works the first time (when there is no clip recorded). If there is a clip recorded, even if that clip is empty....the count in does not work the next time. The only way to get the count in to work is to delete the clip. B...

Re: Count-in in Ableton Push
I will try that when I get home just to verify. I failed to mention that I was referring to the session view recording via Push 2, not the arrangement view recording though.

Re: Count-in in Ableton Push
I am new to Ableton Live and Push 2. This was driving me nuts. I thought I was doing something wrong. Why would the count in not work, just because there is info already recorded in the clip. If I have stopped the playback (for any reason), when I come back later to get going again, I expect there t...

Re: 1st midi note missing when loop recording
Seems like it does better when recording midi clips in session mode vs recording midi loops in arrangement mode (which is what I was doing. I come from a Cubase background, so the whole "session view" thing is new to me. But it works, and my partner and I think we are starting to like it :...

Re: 1st midi note missing when loop recording
No replies?? I searched the forum some more, and I found that others were having a similar problem, but with no solutions. I guess this "quantizing after the fact", is just the way it is. i will keep trying at it, but it kind of throws you off (when building drum patterns especially). Any ...

1st midi note missing when loop recording
Hi guys, I am a noob to Ableton, but I have been reading this forum for over a year. I think that I have read about this problem somewhere on this forum before (I have been searching with no luck). I just purchased Live 8, and when I try to record a new midi loop using record quantize, the first not...
