ABES, READ THIS PLEASE! How to implement what we request!
OK, this is how I see it. There should be a feature where you can push a "groove master" button on one of your channels, and the currently playing clip's groove is applied to each of the other three. This button could be similar in footprint to the mute or solo buttons... Or it could be at the top ...

You don't need Recycle. I uninstalled it the week I discovered Live. Have you tried chopping up loops and re-arranging them on the arrange page, then consolidating them? I think a more accurate introductory sentence would have been "djsynchro doesn't need recycle". I need it!!! Can consoldiating ch...

Man o man. I'm using Reason and Cubase these days cause I can really dick around with groove with those two progs. I haven't even opened a Live file in the last 3 months!!! C'mon Abes, I'm not upgrading again without this feature. Simple as that. I'm through with Live (for the time being). Now that ...

Hey Ryan, long time no talk! How's Charlottesville? Yeah, after Laptopalooza when Live 4 came out I started live looping, but I was recording midi clips playing Reason or a VST instrument, and then bouncing to audio and continuing to loop... These days I start a set with 4 audio tracks on the left, ...

Re: OK, now THIS is the earliest synth
In 1897 Thaddeus Cahill patented (pat no 580,035) what was to become the "Telharmonium" or "Dynamophone" which can be considered the first significant electronic musical instrument . The first fully completed model was presented to the public in 1906 in Holyoke, Mass. The Telharmonium was essential...

definetly a nice track man I just checked it out. though as far as the topic goes I think it could use less stiffly quantised beats.. I hate to say that but even though it's funky it does sound stiff to me. not that I didn't like it. I do. Thanks for the input. Yeah, I normally do stuff with a lot ...

Chopstick Dubplate
Do some google searching for a pair of dudes named "Chopstick Dubplate", or "Jackie Murda" (or "Jacky Murdah", I don't know how it's spelled). anyways, I know Chopstick's living in Montreal nowadays, but he seems to have his finger on the pulse of Ragga Jungle across North America. He also goes by t...

Re: ..
Some of the funkiest music out there is straight. Huh ? certainly not... Actually, Afrika Bambaata, Grandmaster Flash and Herbie Hancock all produced really funky tracks with drum machines of the day that were incapable of swing. They were perfectly rigid. "Robot Funk". Yeah, it exists, just ask an...

Man, I checked the midibox.org website, and it's pretty intimidating. I'm looking to make something that has 16 pitch controls, all in knob form. I find that the 0-127 is just too "steppy" for certain applications, and I want to 16 transmit pitch controls on channels 1-16, and map 'em to filters... ...

Well, I still urge all to boycott LG. They suck. They think that selling a few more computers and cell phones is worth it, even if the money finances RPGs, AK-47s and mass murders in random public places. Would any respectable firm advertise on a new nazi website that encourages the same sort of bul...

... their TV station is one of the more reliable sources of information from that area. How do you figure that? Do you actually think Jewish people drink human blood as their station claims? Do you actually think that hate propaganda constitutes "reliable" information? Dude, even if it's 90% accura...

We're obviously not talking about techno (I don't think) I love swing and whatnot but to not quantize a dance track is like setting yourself to not get any play at a club Unless, like stated before you are absolutley talented in the art of playing in time, all the time every time There's some good ...

(OT) Buying a new computer? BOYCOTT LG!!!
OK, I understand that it is virtually impossible to buy a computer that isn't manufactured with exploited labour these days... But LG has hit a new low, advertising on Hezbollah sponsored Jihadist satellite TV. Published in the Wall Street Journal ____________________________________________________...

Yep, I agree. Nice and simple, put them in a frame... So that there's a single button on the top right of the lot of 'em all.Poster wrote:one ON-OFF button for grouped devices would be very usefull..
